I have owned dogs since I first moved in to my own home over 20 years ago and grew up around dogs before that and have always treated them as I would want one of my children to be treated. I have experience of all size breeds and have extensive experience of terriers and Labradors/retriever breeds in particular. I have trained all of my dogs myself and have been very successful with recall training and lead walking.

Eleanor was a fantastic sitter to Eevee while we were away. As a first time Rover user I knew choosing the right sitter would be important as Eevee has her own special quirks and being a deaf cat, can find interactions with new people challenging. However as soon as we met Eleanor I knew that Eevee was in safe and very capable hands. She was looked after with care, attention and I could tell that she also felt loved by Eleanor. I know in the future that we can rely on Eleanor for other occasions we require a sitter, and to return to a happy cat shows what care she takes to provide an amazing service. Home from our host to find two very happy, well looked after cats. I was able to relax knowing that Eleanor and George were taking excellent care of my babies. The updates and photos were great. They not only did the feeding they gave plenty of cuddles and had play time too. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

Schedule
I work from home full time so dogs are never left on their own at all. I walk first thing in the morning a longer walk at lunch time and then a before bed walk. I live with my husband George who helps take care of the dogs also.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large patio area as well as a grassed area in our garden. This is enclosed with 6 foot fencing. We have extensive fields to walk through as well as opportunities for swimming in clean shallow water.
Pets
A typical day
Minimum of 3 walks a day 2 shorter ones and 1 longer one. We have snuffle mats and dog puzzles as well as plenty of cuddles and love throughout the day. We always incorporate training in to the day too just to keep them mentally stimulated. Of course we can also accommodate for older/younger dogs who are less able to walk for this amount of time.
