Pet care experience
For the past three years, I've provided dog and house sitting services for families through personal referrals. Caring for someone's pet means caring for a member of their family, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I love pups. I love getting to know each dog's unique personality, energy level, and routine. Whether a dog enjoys long walks, active playtime, quiet companionship, or plenty of affection, I adapt my care to their individual needs. I have experience caring for dogs in their own homes and maintaining their normal schedules so they feel comfortable and secure. In addition to my dog-sitting experience, I volunteered at a dog shelter on the Greek island of Andros, where I helped care for 26 dogs of different ages and temperaments.

Ellie is a loving and caring dog sitter, who for years took care of our two dogs, Ginger and Fuji, when we travelled. (Sadly, they have both now crossed over the rainbow bridge.) Ellie has a gentle soul, which I believe pets can sense instantly. The first day she entered our home, they instantly connected with and soon adored her. When we happened to be home and Ellie was visiting, she often sat on the floor petting one or both dogs. A true friend. Her stellar reputation travelled quickly in our neighborhood, and Ellie went on to care for the pets of several other nearby families. Ellie was absolutely exceptional with our two senior dogs, Fuji (120 lbs) and Ginger (75 lbs), caring for them for several weeks at a time with remarkable skill, patience, and affection. She handled their size, age-related needs, and personalities with complete confidence, giving us total peace of mind whenever we were away. Her bond with Ginger was especially extraordinary—it often seemed like they communicated through some kind of ESP, with Ellie intuitively understanding exactly what Ginger needed (and vice versa!). Both dogs clearly adored her and were always happy and relaxed in her care. I would trust Ellie again without hesitation and recommend her enthusiastically to anyone looking for a truly outstanding dog walker and caregiver.
