I am currently a college student, however, maintain a pretty flexible schedule. I only have classes on two days of the week and I’m open to overnights as well.

I care for pets in my own home by giving them as much love and attention as I can. I do this by meeting their physical and emotional needs, for example, play time and walks along with the basics like food and water.

A typical day
For dogs, I will take them for walks, and if they’re energetic dogs I can either run with them or, if the owner is comfortable, I can take them to the dog park so they can run freely. We can also play fetch or tug a war. If it’s a senior dog we can enjoy some outside time in the grass with a small walk if they’re able. I will also give them so much loving, pets, belly rubs, etc. Whatever the pup likes! For cats, I will spend time playing with them and using different toys to stimulate their minds, along with giving them cuddles and pets if they’ll let me.

I have had pets in my home for all of my life; however, I started actually taking responsibility for them around age 9. In addition to taking care of the animals in my family, I have cared for many different familes' pets as well. I have watched dogs, cats, bunnies, and guinea pigs! I genuinely like spending time with animals better than humans and love giving them the love and attention they deserve!
