Dog & cat mom, foster, rescue volunteer, and marine biologist working in animal rescue and rehabilitation—I’ve spent my life caring for animals and know how important it is to have someone you truly trust with your pets. I currently intern with the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Sea Otter Rescue and Rehabilitation Team, so hands-on animal care is quite literally what I do every day! I grew up with both dogs and cats and have experience caring for animals of all ages, personalities, and needs—from kittens and puppies to seniors and hospice pets. I’m comfortable with medications, specialized care, enrichment, exercise, and pets who are shy, reactive, slow to warm up, or particular about their routines. I’m experienced in reading animal behavior, respecting boundaries, and adapting my care to each individual pet. Whether that means walks and adventures, enrichment and play, slow trust-building, or simply keeping them comfortable at home, my priority is making sure your pets feel safe, understood, and loved while you’re away.

I care for pets in their own home, where they feel safest and most comfortable. I don’t bring animals to my house, so all of my services are centered around keeping your pet’s routine consistent in their familiar environment. When I’m in your home, I will make sure to follow your instructions closely, whether that’s specific feeding schedules, preferred walking routes, medication routines, or favorite enrichment activities. I always make sure pets have fresh water, a clean space, plenty of attention, and whatever level of play, exercise, or quiet company they prefer. I’m very respectful of your home and treat it with the same care I give your pets. I tidy up after visits, keep things organized, and make sure everything is exactly how you left it. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, happy, and understood while you’re away, and for you to feel confident knowing they’re in good hands.

Schedule
Pet care fits really naturally into my weekly routine. I have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to schedule pet visits around my shifts without any issue. I’m available in the mornings or early afternoons/evenings, and I can stay for several hours if your pet needs extra company, enrichment, or supervision. I’m also available on weekends and some holidays.

- Before I care for your pet, I love to know as much as possible so I can keep their routine consistent and make them feel safe and comfortable. Helpful things to share include: Any behavioral quirks (shy, reactive, anxious, energetic, etc.) Whether they’re dog-friendly, cat-friendly, or kid-friendly Their walking style and comfort level around other dogs, people, or busy areas Feeding schedules, treat rules, and any food sensitivities Medication routines or health conditions I should be aware of Favorite toys, enrichment activities, and comfort items Household rules (no couch, certain rooms off-limits, etc.) Anything that might scare or stress them—loud noises, certain handling, etc. The more I know about your pet’s personality and preferences, the better I can tailor their care and make sure they feel secure, understood, and happy while you're away.
