Hi there! We’re Elba and Casey, and we would be honored to care for your pup while you’re away. Our home is a place where dogs are treated like family, not guests. Your dog will experience a calm, comfortable home during the day, balanced with an active lifestyle, tailored walks, and plenty of loving pets, affection, and companionship throughout the day. Dogs staying with us are welcome to be part of everyday life — they’re allowed throughout the home, including relaxing on the couch, so they can feel completely at ease and at home. Our love for animals is both personal and deeply rooted in experience. Elba holds a Master’s degree in Animal Science and works full-time in wildlife conservation and rescue. She has personally rescued and helped find loving homes for over 30 dogs in Puerto Rico, and even inspired her once dog-averse parents to become proud foster-fail parents of four dogs. Casey is an educator who was Maya's dog dad for 4 wonderful years and loves having fun with dogs and taking them outside. We recently said goodbye to our beloved golden retriever, Maya, who was truly our soul dog. Losing her has only deepened our empathy for how special and irreplaceable every dog is. It would be a true privilege to welcome your dog into our home and care for them as if they were our own. We both work 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, providing a consistent, calm household with attentive care before and after work. We are committed to strictly following your dog’s routine and any special requirements, including feeding schedules, medications, mobility needs, and preferences that help them feel safe and happy. We’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind. ❤️

Elba and Casey were awesome! They were patient with Rizzo and I can confidently say Riz had more fun with them than she does with me! Elba was super communicative and provided tons of pictures and videos as well as daily updates. Their place is clean, quiet, and dog friendly and Riz felt at home right away. I'd definitely have them watch Rizzo again in the future!

They were amazing with Quevo. I was nervous because this was the first time having someone watch my dog but they made the whole process so smooth. You can tell they really love and care for the dogs they watch.
Elba was very sweet with our Luna. Our luna was having some tummy troubles and Elba was great with the instructions we provided. She took some great photos and videos of luna during her stay. We greatly appreciated them and their flexibility when our flight was delayed.

I just want to thank Elba and her husband for taking such amazing care of my babies and all of their needs. My girl Sammy has recently been struggling with separation anxiety, and they truly gave her the love, comfort, and attention she needed. From the pictures and videos they sent me, I could see a completely different and much happier dog. They were also incredibly sweet and caring with my boy Pickles. I’m very selective about who watches my dogs because I want to make sure they are treated with the same love and care I give them, and Elba and her husband exceeded every expectation. If you’re looking for someone to watch your puppies and treat them like family, I highly recommend booking with Elba and her husband!

Schedule
We both work 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with lots of availability on the weekend. We provide a consistent, calm household with attentive care before and after work. We are committed to strictly following your dog’s routine and any special requirements, including feeding schedules, medications, mobility needs, and preferences that help them feel safe and happy.

In our home, dogs are truly part of the family. They’re welcome throughout the house (including the couch!) and get lots of love, attention, and companionship in a calm, comfortable environment. We balance relaxing downtime with walks, outdoor time, and play, based on each dog’s energy level and routine. We’re careful to follow your dog’s normal schedule, including meals, meds, and any special instructions.
A typical day
Every dog is a different world with different personalities so we adapt to what ever they like based on what the owner tells me. We could be couch potatoes or we could spent most of the day doing out doors activities such as playing fetch or walking.
