Hi new family! My name is Elayne but family and friends call me Lanie. I know our dogs are not just an animal. They are the warm heartbeat at our feet. Literally I've been a dog lover,owner,caretaker and sitter my whole life. Until recently we lost our best buddy Nikko. He was a Japanese Akita, a big ball of fluff and love. My husband and I decided not to adopt another dog. As much love and room we have in our hearts, and there is nothing better than having a dog as a member of the family. We also know it's a life long commitment. We talked about how could we fill that void. We still have the love and the time. Just not the forever. So why not be the extention of a family? The bennies for all! Right? Drop of your furry baby with auntie. I know there are some great day cares in the area however your precious fur baby going to a home away from home is no comparison. Home is where its at. Home is where the love is. Hope to meet you soon!

Elyane did a fantastic job of sending us daily updates & photos of Titus. She took him on long daily walks and smothered him with loads of attention while he was in her care.
I wish I could give 20 stars. We entrusted our 10 year old German Shepherd with Lainey for 10 days over Thanksgiving. I was so worried our dog would think we abandoned him because he tends to have separation anxiety. We couldn’t be happier with how well our dog was treated. Constant updates and pictures where he looked SO happy. No separation anxiety at all! He was loved on played with and walked, we were worried he wouldn’t want to come home! Lainey and her husband treated him like their own. They even sent him home with a present and a wonderful card. I means everything to have found someone we can trust our fur baby with, especially with his health issues she was on top of all his meds and supplements. I will absolutely use Lainey for Jake in the future!
We couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible care our dog Aspen received while we were away. From the moment we dropped Aspen off, it was clear she was in loving and capable hands. Layne welcomed her into her home like family, providing a safe, warm, and happy environment. Throughout our trip, we received regular updates, photos, and sweet messages that gave us such peace of mind. Aspen looked relaxed, well-loved, and clearly enjoyed every moment of her stay. It was comforting to know she was being treated with the same level of care and affection she receives at home. When we returned, Aspen was happy, healthy, and clearly had bonded with her. It means the world to us to know she was so well cared for. We wholeheartedly recommend this Layne to anyone looking for a responsible, kind, and attentive caregiver. Aspen can’t wait for her next stay!
It was my first time leaving stitch , but Elayne is so amazing and caring and very good at communicating highly recommended
Luna had a great time and felt very comfortable and safe. Lanie was able to work around Luna’s reactive behavior to the best of her abilities and provide an environment that eased Luna’s anxiety.

Schedule
Communication is the key. I'm super flexible. Because of that, I'm sure I'll be able to cater to your dog's needs. That way your pet is not thrown off it's schedule and continues to stay comfortable at his/her home away from home.

Your pet is family. Thats how they will get treated. I have a closed fenced yard. I'm also a daily walker. If your dog takes walks. I'm all in! Walking is great exercise. It's always better to have a furry friend to take with.
A typical day
It's all about meet and greet. Get to know the lay of the house. Inside and out. All the new smells! Then its a wrap! Game over! Welcome to your home away from home!
