Hi. I have loved cats and dogs since I was a small child. I helped to walk my friend's dog during Primary School lunchtimes and from then on I was hooked! I've had many pets of my own. Later, I worked as a veterinary nurse for several years and also volunteered at a local cat shelter. My passion is helping animals. I have the skills in basic pet care eg. feeding, giving medications, walking and playing. I can offer drop-in visits and dog walks and, come mid-December, some housesitting too.

Safety, trust & environment
My shih-tzu would not be too chuffed if another dog came into our home, so I can really only provide pet care in your own home for now. However, in an emergency we do have a dog cage for her.
Ratings and reviews
I have used Elaine Twice now and everytime I get the best service. The Rover cards are filled in as required, with photos and information. I will continue to use Elaine for all my holiday plans. I feel at ease knowing ive left my cats in good hands. Thanks again.
Elaine is always great with my dogs, they love their visits and I love my picture updates. Very easy to contact and flexible where she can with her schedule.
We went away for the weekend. Elaine looked after our 2 precious cats. I was sent updates and pictures to say that they were ok. I couldn't recommend Elaine enough. Elaine also went above and beyond by playing and interacting with them. I would definitely be booking Elaine again.
Elaine is very friendly and trustworthy. She has had experience working as a nurse in a vet's. She loves cats and dogs very much and has looked after my two dogs many times. Very loving and affectionate towards cats and dogs and other animals. She is definitely the right person for the job, very reliable.

Schedule
At present, I work 3 days a week as a care assistant. Although I enjoy this work, my heart lies more with helping animals. It's just a big soft spot that I have. It is time for me to folliw my passion again. My work days in the care home vary so it would be great if you could be a little flexible with me as regards days. This is just until I can become a full-time petsitter. I can work early mornings through to evenings, including weekends.
