Calm and caring! 😊
***Note: actively seeking sits for first two weeks of August 2026, daytime or overnight*** My mum is a veterinary nurse so growing up we were often caring for strays and I've felt compassion for animals since a young age. I've done pet-sitting through a similar site for the last 5 years and loved it!

Safety, trust & environment
I have no other pets at home, though our garden fence is in need of repairs, so any outside use would have to be on a leash. When in other people's homes I am very tidy and respectful of the space and will leave the house at least as clean as I found it.
Ratings and reviews
Elaine is brilliantly good with my cat, Nelson. She gives him his insulin injection easily with no stress.
Elaine came for a meet and greet. Nelson is normally quite a shy cat but he took to her quite promptly. She gave him his treat so I think they are friends by now. We are looking forward to having Elaine over again, mostly for treats says Nelson, but really he let her pet him, that says a lot of a cat who doesn't let new visitors within range for at least 48h. Elaine was knowledgeable, she understood the concerns around elderly cats with diabetes which was a huge plus.
Great communication and very helpful making sure everything went well.
Elaine took good care of my boys and they seemed content and well looked after when I returned, which is what matters most to me. Communication was clear and reliable. I realised that I prefer slightly more frequent updates for reassurance, so I would request a few more next time – but that’s simply a preference I hadn’t needed to clarify before, as I’d received very frequent updates from previous sitters. The home was also left in good order. I’d happily book her again.
Elaine was great - warm, professional, and our dog loves her! Looking forward to booking her again soon :)
Elaine was brilliant with Moose! He warmed to her v quickly and seemed super happy around her which was lovely. Would definitely book Elaine again :)

Schedule
I do work full-time, so on weekdays am only available in the evenings, but am often free weekends and happy to accommodate the pet's needs to best of my ability!
