Hi Friends! I am a lifelong animal lover and have a wealth of experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds but I specialize in rescues, senior dogs, and dogs with special needs. I have also fostered rescue dogs and have a soft spot for dogs who have been labeled "difficult." I believe that dogs and cats are a great gift to humans and teach us patience, love, and compassion. My beloved rescue Chihuahua, Lumpia, crossed the Rainbow Bridge 6 years ago and taught me many lessons. I also have cat sitting experience. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family members!

I prefer to house sit dogs and cats so they can be comfortable in their own home. For cats I normally do drop-in visits only.

Elaine took great care of Buster and enabled him to stay cozy in his familiar environment. She sent photos and stayed in touch, and proactively asked questions about behaviors to make sure he was okay. I’m so grateful to have found her!
Elaine housesat for our 12 year old doberman, Max, during one of our vacations. We received photos multiple times a day (we love seeing Max while we're away, and he always looked happy!) and she did great with giving him his twice daily eye drops. The house was tidy and clean when we returned, and were greeted by one happy pup. She and her partner, Evan, were great. We'd be happy to have them housesit again!
Elaine is a great sitter, she kept good communication with us the entire trip, and was very flexible with drop off and pickup times. Highly recommended!
Elaine was fantastic with our dog, Kiki, who is a rescue with separation anxiety issues. This was the first time we had ever been apart from Kiki for more than a few hours, and we didn't know how she would react. Throughout Kiki's stay, Elaine sent us photos, gave us frequent updates, and responded quickly when we texted her. She called us on the second day to let us know that she was concerned because Kiki had thrown up in the night and had not been eating or drinking much. Elaine responded to the situation quickly and professionally, talking us through the issue and discussing strategies and a game plan. She was extremely patient and attentive with Kiki, giving her water out of an eye dropper and food out of her hand. As a result, Kiki did not have to go to the vet for dehydration, saving Kiki a lot of stress and us a lot of money. Elaine made the separation so much easier on both Kiki and on us - we felt very assured that Kiki was in good hands!
Elaine took wonderful care of my pups - she was attentive to them, dealt efficiently with some messes, and kept me informed the whole time I was away. I would highly recommend her services!

I work full time at the office Monday-Friday so I am only doing drop-ins during the week and housesitting on the weekends at this time.
