About Emma

I adopted Emma when she was about 6months. I found her on the side of the road after she was hit by a car. I took her to a close by vet hospital and they wanted to put her to sleep because she didn't have any ID tag or chip implanted in her. I pleaded with the vet and offered to pay and asked if I could take her home with me. She was pretty bad but the doctor assured me that she would be okay once she had the proper care. I was really taken back as to why he was going to have to put her down. He said her injuries were going to be costly and that they normally put dogs down that are strays. Wow! They're not even given a chance. I asked what kind of dog she was and he told me a Labradoodle not even a year old, I was taken back. She looked so old and worn out. It wasn't until I moved to Las Vegas that I had to renew her shots and the vet told me that my dog wasn't a labradoodle but a Bouvier. What a surprise!!! these dogs look very similar but the Bouvier's have a broader chest and the fact that her ears and tail are still in tack can be mistaken for a Labradoodle. Lucky me!
