Information Elaine D. would like to know about your pet

I am familiar with most breeds since I am a groomer and vet tech. I also have dog training experience. But I would like to know a bit about your dog's behavior ahead of time. i.e, easy going, anxious, aggressive, fearful, lazy, etc. I do not any longer take dogs with separation anxiety and/or destructive behavior. If you are not upfront about this I surely will find out within a few hours of the stay and will have to cancel the booking and contact Rover.

A typical day

The dogs will play most of the day outside when the weather is good. Fresh water put out every 30 minutes. They come in for naps as needed or if they indicate they would like to rest. Then go out again as they wish. Always supervised. They also receive obedience training and correction as needed. Cats stay inside and have scratch posts, beds and towers.

Pet care experience

QUALITY NOT QUANTITY. I DO NOT TAKE A LOT OF DOGS and CATS AS WELL. If your dog chews please let me know, as I will find out and I do not want any misunderstandings. I cannot take destructive dogs any longer. I devote all my time to the pets that stay with me. Just see my reviews. You will not find anyone as devoted or experienced or as loving. My years of experience have benefited others. Any dog that stays with me will receive all of my attention. I also ask that client's do not bring their own blankets, toys, bowls, etc. As I have plenty and prefer to use my own. Also, dogs can become possessive of their own toys so I have 'communal' toys for all to enjoy equally. All my time is devoted to my dogs and cats and those that are in my care. I am a vet tech and groomer over 20 yrs. Extremely safe. Fenced in yard, never left alone. Walk on strong lead if owner wishes. I can give medicines, injections, etc. I have cared for dogs and cats with cancer, diabetes and more. I work part-time from home as a consultant. Therefore, I am here 98% of the time. Dogs aren't left unattended. Very safe here, very accommodating. I am now going forward as to not take dogs with separation anxiety and/or destructive behaviors. Although I dealt with this when my ex-husband and I ran a training and boarding facility for 15 yrs; I cannot take dogs with extreme behavioral issues. I do know other sitters that will on and off Rover, if this is your dog I can refer.

Elaine was amazing to work with! We had to book last minute and she was so accommodating. Aubrey loved staying there and playing with her poodles. She also sent pictures everyday and was very communicative. I would highly recommend her!
