I love, respect and have much compassion for animals. I cannot live without them. I grew up with many pets. Dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, turtles and horses. I am a certified pet sitter. I am available for long term commitments, or just when you need a pet sitter / walker for a day or two. I work hard at adjusting my schedule to accommodate your needs. “Meet & Greets” are free and gives us the opportunity to speak to each other in person and for me to meet your pet(s). We can discuss what I need to know and what is important to you. Your pet's physical, emotional and mental needs will be satisfied as far as possible with walks, cuddles and play time. I am not a fan of crates and therefore prefer not to dog sit pets who are held in crates for many hours. I am a Reiki Master (Usui) and also certified as an Animal Reiki Practitioner by Kathleen Prasad. For many years, I have studied animal communication and healing by Val Heart and Joan Ranquet, and the Trust Technique by John French. I have included the names, should you be interested and wish to learn more about it. Don't worry though, when you book me for pet sitting, it will be only pet sitting unless you ask. While I was living in Europe, I often did pet sitting for family and friends. I am absolutely reliable and will do anything for your pet to feel happy, well and your home to be safe. I volunteered at Luna's House Animal Care and Education Center for two years. This past September 2018, I switched to Best Friends in Harford County. I love to do my weekly volunteer time.
