Growing up, there was always a cat somewhere in the house — that gentle, constant presence is just part of how I grew up loving animals. Then, when I was seven, we brought home a German Shepherd puppy, and that’s the memory that really shaped me: this huge, loyal, endlessly energetic dog who became my shadow for years. Living with a shepherd teaches you a lot — about patience, structure, reading body language, and understanding just how much a dog needs both mental and physical exercise to be truly happy. These days, my own cat is 12 years old and has been part of my life since I was an adult on my own for the first time. She’s taught me the quieter side of animal care — the routines, the subtle signs when something’s off, the trust that builds slowly over years rather than days. Between growing up with cats and being shaped by an incredible German Shepherd, and now caring for my senior cat, animals have genuinely been a constant thread through my entire life. I understand both the boundless energy of a young dog and the calm, careful needs of an older pet — and I bring patience, attentiveness, and real love to every animal I look after.
