I live in a house on the doorstep to Beckett Park with a small front garden and s fenced off back garden for dogs to explore. Beckett park is just one minute walk away but I often take dogs to beck in Meanwood Park too. I'll be happy for any dog to stay in my house for day care and overnight. I am of course also happy to go to the dog owners house.

Information Eirik S. would like to know about your pet
Knowing the individual needs of a dog is important. If the dog is good with other dogs and recall is good to know before letting the dog off the lead. I am sure the dog owners will let me know the special requirements for the dog before the first meet.
A typical day
Taking the dog for a walk in the local park and woods. Letting the dog sniff around and play in water and with a stick or a ball. The personality of each individual dog will obviously decide which activity to do with the dog.

Pet care experience
Hello I am Eirik. I am from the top of Norway but I have more or less become and honourable Yorkshireman after living in Leeds for 25+ years.. Rain, wind or sunshine, cold or warm weather, I am always happy to go on walkies wit my 4 legged friends. Needless to say, I love dogs and a happy dog makes me happy too. I have been living with and looking after dogs the last 4-5 years. Last years I attended puppy school while looking after 'Vega', my sister' 3 month old Dutch spaniel puppy which was incredibly interesting and fun. I have also regularly look after 'Bobsy', a 12.5 year old border collie cross the last 5 years. Due to his age, Bobsy can't do the long hikes in Dales anymore but he is still very playful and still loves to go for a swim and to chase sticks which is brilliant. I don't have a car but I have most days free so I can travel on foot or on public transport to the dog owners home or an arranged pick up/drop off point.
Reviews

When I first met Eric our dog Maisie jumped up to sit next to him and was obviously totally happy and relaxed. So it was an easy choice that Maisie stayed with Eric for 11 nights whilst we went on holiday. He is very calm and his house is set up for doggy visitors . They are allowed everywhere and Maisie slept on his bed . We were a bit anxious leaving Maisie especially as she was finishing her first season and was still fertile. Eric was extremely careful to keep Maisie away from intact males and still managed to give her plenty of exercise and also visited cafes and pubs . We really felt Eric looked after Maisie as if she were his own dog and she clearly had an exciting and enjoyable time . Eric sent us many photos and videos and we soon relaxed into our holiday knowing Maisie was in capable hands . We would definitely recommend Eric and would happily use him again .

I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with Eirik, he provided regular updates and I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again.

Eirik was fantastic, I had regular updates and pictures of Louie having the time of his life. He felt right at home immediately and had a great weekend while I was away. He can often be scared of new dogs but Louie was so comfortable, he made lots of new friends and even had a sleep over with a lovely girl dog called Bella.

Eirik took good care of our little dog. He did send daily updates, photos and videos. We were able to relax knowing that our dog was well looked after. Strongly recommend Eirik and will definitely book with him again. Thank you so much
