Hugely grateful to Eilis for looking after Paddy in our home over a long weekend. I had been nervous ahead of time as Paddy is a bit high maintenance/anxious but I had been pleased to meet Eilis ahead of time and was very confident in her abilities. She was great at keeping in touch with updates and I very much appreciated her sticking to Paddy’s usual routine to keep him as settled as possible. He was in great form when we returned and the flat was incredibly tidy (completely different to when I leave my adult kids in charge!). I would not hesitate to use Eilis again.
Eilis walked my collie while he was staying with a relative who was unable to take him out for long. She was on time, very communicative, sent lots of pictures and Ollie has really taken to her. Thank you!
Eilis is such a lovely person who really takes the time to understand your dog and their routine, it was clear from their first meeting that Obi adores her! We had peace of mind while leaving Obi for the first time with lots of lovely pupdates and came home to a very contented dog. We've already rebooked with Eilis and would not hesitate to use her services again.

Schedule
As a nurse, I have a structured and busy schedule, but I make time for pets every day because I understand the importance of routine, attention, and care. Walking, feeding, and spending quality time with dogs fits naturally around my shifts, and my experience in nursing, being attentive, patient, and responsive to needs translates directly to caring for animals. Volunteering with dogs trust has also taught me about staying calm under pressure, and providing special care, which helps me ensure every dog I look after is safe, happy, and comfortable.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets, I ensure their safety, comfort, and happiness at all times. During walks, I maintain control on a leash, monitor their behaviour, and adapt the pace to each dog’s needs. I provide plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and positive reinforcement, while always keeping an eye on their well-being. If caring in a pet owner’s home, I follow their instructions carefully, feeding, water, and any special routines, while giving lots of attention, love, and companionship so the dog feels safe and happy in my care.

A typical day
A typical day for me starts with some fresh air and exercise, which is why I love dog walking. I enjoy getting outside and making sure each dog has a fun, safe walk tailored to their needs, whether that’s a gentle stroll or a more energetic adventure. I make sure they get plenty of time to sniff, explore, and enjoy themselves, while always keeping them safe and cared for. My goal is to send each pup home happy, relaxed, and looking forward to their next walk.
