The first and last thing I will do in your home is to make sure that all pets are visible - meaning, they are in your home and are safe. Many cats will hide and I prefer to know that they are in and are safe. I will then take care of feeding and cleaning the litter. The rest of the visit is spent playing and having quality time with your pet.

Animals Are My Passion
Pet care experience
I am a retired teacher and have had all types of pets throughout my life. Though I have always worked full time, I have been a pet sitter for many years as being with animals has always been a passion of mine. In addition, I have volunteered with various pet rescue organizations and am trained in companion animal behavior. Also, I have extensive training in Healing Touch for Animals. I mostly care for cats and smaller pets (rabbits, birds, etc.) and have been known in the area as the woman who specializes in cat sitting. Note: I believe animals need quality time and companionship when their family is away; it is stressful time for them. As such and if time allows, I will spend more time with your pets - 45 minutes with your pet instead of the 30 minutes stated on Rover.com. ** If you live on the third floor or higher of an apartment building, I will be unable to care for your pet at this time, unless there is an elevator available.

Eileen is the best! Our sweet cat Buns loves her, and he is always so well cared for while we are away. Can’t recommend her enough! We plan our trips according to her availability; no joke. Love to have peace of mind while travelling, knowing Buns is in great care.
Eileen was wonderful, and did an amazing job looking after my home and my babies. My dogs loved hanging out with her and she was always very communicative and reliable. She also loved my dogs and I felt they were very safe knowing she was looking after them. Will definitely book again!
