I’ve had Eileen and Luke take care of my two small Pomeranians, Kit (5 lbs) and Fen (12 lbs), several times now. I typically leave them with Eileen and Luke for a week or longer, and every time they come back to me happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. Eileen and Luke are extremely attentive to their routine. I leave them detailed feeding and crate instructions, and they follow them to a tee. They also keep me updated while I’m away, and if anything unusual happens, they let me know right away and tell me how they handled it. That communication gives me a lot of peace of mind, especially when I’m gone for longer trips. Their home is also a great environment for my dogs. They have a large yard, and Kit and Fen get plenty of time outside and regular walks. Since Kit and Fen are very small, I particularly appreciate that Eileen and Luke keep a close eye on them outdoors and are very mindful of wildlife or anything else that could potentially harm them. Their daughter is wonderful with them as well. She’s very gentle with small dogs and loves playing with Kit and Fen, and the three of them get along famously. My dogs can also be pretty noisy from separation anxiety, especially on the first night. Eileen and Luke have always been incredibly patient with them and are usually able to get them settled by the next night. They even use a white-noise machine, which helps recreate the sleeping environment Kit and Fen are used to at home. As a bonus, they have even given Kit and Fen baths right before I pick them up. They come home to me nice and fresh. I feel very comfortable leaving Kit and Fen with Eileen and Luke. They have consistently been attentive, communicative, patient, and genuinely caring toward my dogs. I would happily recommend them to anyone looking for dog boarding services. Eileen and Luke are people you can genuinely trust to take great care of your pets.
