I wake up early to walk dogs and give them breakfast. I am home all day most days and when I am not my husband is home.

When we are inside the dogs usually relax with us while we watch TV or hang out in the kitchen with us. We have a few dog beds and dogs are welcome to bring their own crate or bed. I also have a crate with dog bed inside and a play pen for puppies who need constant supervision.

I would like to know what kind of personality your dog has and what their daily routine is. Where do they usually sleep and are they good on leash or could use some training. I will ask if they can be off leash in my yard with me outside with them so we can play.
A typical day
We like to take a short ride to guilford green or to the beach area to take a walk with the dogs. We also go to the dog park sometimes with owners permission. If dogs can be off leash, I take them in the backyard to get excercize playing with frisbee or balls. Other than that we walk in our neighborhood a few times a day. I usually sleep downstairs with the dogs in my family room to keep them company and some can sleep upstairs with us.

Pet care experience
I have experience pet sitting dogs in my home for about 10 years. I took a break a few years ago and only watched a small group of dogs I knew very well and now I am back and looking forward to meeting a few new clients. I live with my husband who loves dogs to offer extra support and attention. We had one senior dog who recently passed at age 17. I have cared for a few other senior dogs and understand their special needs. I have taken a dog obedience training and can work with inexperienced dogs with leash walking. I have my own pet care insurance also for added protection. We take dogs on walks in our neighborhood or we take a short ride to walk by the town green or beach. With owners okay we take dogs who have been before to the dog park occasionally. I have a large deck that dogs can go out and look out into the woods and the West River or just soak up the sun. I watch few dogs that can be off leash in my backyard and where I play ball with them. They have a blast. Every dog is different but most dogs really do enjoy their time with us and settle in very quickly like part of the family. I live in a house at the end of a cul de sac in a nice neighborhood about 2 minutes off of exit 58 of the Connecticut turnpike 1-95.

Eileen was fantastic with Willie! She fit us in on late notice, still did a meet and greet beforehand, and communicated great throughout. She sent daily updates all weekend and Willie looked so happy in every one. Willie’s a pretty anxious pup, and Eileen made sure she had a “bunker” to retreat to during the rain, plus plenty of outdoor time. 10/10 recommend — Willie will definitely be staying with her again!
Excellent sitter. Sent Lots of pics — which made me feel better about leaving my clingy toy poodle in her care. My train was hours delayed but eileen was fine with accommodating themlate pick up. She’s my go-to now for dog sitters!
This was our first sit with Eileen and our dog Riley got all the attention she requires! It was so nice to be able to go away and feel confident Riley was well cared for.
Eileen is a great person to entrust your pet with. As a first time user of Rover, she set up a meet & greet beforehand to learn about our dog and for us to gain comfort with her. Eileen did a great job keeping us updated about our dog by sending photos and videos via text. Our dog had plenty of walks and outdoor time. Would definitely use her again.
