About Yuki

Yuki gets excited when meeting new people and may jump a little at first. She will calm down very fast and become your new best friend. She loves to cuddle on the couch, with or without a buddy. If she is not being lazy and laying around on the couch or floor, she is trying to tell you she wants something. Usually this is food, or potty. Sometimes it means she wants to play, but if that is the case she will bring over a toy. I love this girl. She is probably the most laid back dog ever. Very sweet. She loves walks and car rides.

  • Sex: Female
  • Age: 9 years, 10 mo. old
  • Weight: 37lbs
  • Breed: Mixed
  • Tracking Chip: Yes
  • Spayed: Yes
  • House Trained: Yes
100% Usually only goes outside to potty twice a day, but wouldn't turn down more options to go out.
  • Gets along with children: Yes
As with most dogs, if the child is rough or pulling on her hair or tail she will snarl if not nip. Otherwise she plays very well with anyone.
  • Gets along with other dogs: Yes
Yuki gets mad when bigger dogs get too close and sniff too much, in enclosed areas. Outside she is more lenient of them sniffing. She does not bite, but will raise her lip and bark, informing the dog that she doesn't like it. Usually it takes a meeting or two and she will stop barking at them.
  • Gets along with cats: Yes
will sniff cat, otherwise will probably ignore.

About Lilly

Lilly was a rescue from a kill shelter. She has a little food guarding, but otherwise gets along with most every dog. (We have started separating for meals) She gets a bit skittish around dogs that really want to invade her space, though. She loves people and is definitely a lap dog.

  • Sex: Female
  • Age: 7 years, 4 mo. old
  • Weight: 15lbs
  • Breed: Mixed
  • Tracking Chip: Yes
  • Spayed: Yes
  • House Trained: Yes
As long as she gets fairly frequent potty breaks. We've been working with her, and she usually only goes pee in the kennel if she is having separation anxiety. She does well in the house.
  • Gets along with children: No
Lilly doesn't do well with any person/animal that will play rough. She will let children pet her, but if they are playing rough or pulling her tail she will get nippy.
  • Gets along with other dogs: Yes
She doesn't do well in settings like dog parks where multiple dogs want to sniff her out. She does good one on one. She is especially good if the other dog just does his own thing and leaves her alone, haha.
  • Gets along with cats: Yes
We think she may be afraid of them, but doesn't chase as far as we know.
