Hi! I'm Efrat, a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Loyola University Maryland and a lifelong dog lover. I grew up with labs and have always enjoyed caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities! My husband works from home full-time, and I have a flexible schedule, which means dogs in our care receive plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. Dogs are rarely left alone, and we genuinely enjoy having them as part of our daily routine. We love being active and spending time outdoors, so frequent walks are a regular part of every day. Whether your dog prefers leisurely strolls or needs multiple daily walks to burn off energy, I'm happy to accommodate their individual needs. I'm comfortable caring for both large and small dogs and enjoy getting to know each dog's unique personality. Because we do not currently have any pets of our own, your dog will receive our full attention during their stay!! I understand how important routines can be and am experienced in following specific feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise needs, and other care preferences. As a graduate student, I am responsible, organized, and attentive to detail. I treat every dog as if they were my own and strive to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment while you're away. You can also expect frequent photo and video updates throughout your dog's stay, so you'll always know how they're doing. My goal is to give you peace of mind and make sure your pet feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for from the moment they arrive.

Efrat has watched my dog Baloo many times and is an incredibly kind and dedicated dog sitter. Baloo absolutely loves her and we greatly appreciate how much she cares for him. She is very professional, timely in her response and trustworthy. She has always kept us well updated with pictures of him throughout his time with her. He got plenty of long walks with her and even went on some short hikes which he loved. Any dog would be lucky to stay with her. Our dog is also a more challenging dog as he has anxiety and takes daily medications for it as well as can sometimes struggle with new environments, she was very welcoming and gentle and made the transition smooth and easy for him.
I honestly can’t say enough good things about Efrat when it comes to taking care of my dogs. She’s been looking after Joy, Fuxi, and Bruno for years now, and I never have to worry for a second when they’re with her. She’s just one of those people you know you can count on. My dogs absolutely adore her, which really says it all. She knows their personalities, keeps their routines, and always checks in. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else more than her. If you need someone who will truly love and look after your pets, she’s your person.
Efrat took great care of my dog. She was very loving and attentive, and followed all directions I left perfectly. It was clear that Efrat truly cared and wanted to do the best job possible. My dog, as well as myself, was very pleased with her performance.
I’ve trusted Efrat with my dogs and bunny multiple times now and she never disappoints. From the moment she meets an animal, you can just tell she genuinely loves them. She’s responsible, communicative, and goes above and beyond every time. My fur babies were happy, well cared for, and I came home to zero stress. Honestly, once you try her, you won’t go looking anywhere else. 10/10 recommend!
Efrat has been a great help with my pups. As someone who worries about leaving my fur babies alone, I always know I can count on her to take care of them as if they were her own.
We have two dogs and just like the humans in our household, our Pepsi and Libi instantly fell in love with Efrat. She is very responsible with all their care needs as well as loving and affectionate with them. Efrat has been with us for years and is totally trustworthy. I highly recommend her.

Schedule
My husband and I both have flexible work schedules, allowing us to provide plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. We enjoy staying active and taking frequent walks, so regular exercise and outdoor time are already part of our routine. Dogs are rarely left alone for extended periods, and we do our best to accommodate each pet's normal schedule, including feeding times, walks, medications, and any special care needs.

Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. We have a calm, pet-friendly home and do not currently have any pets of our own, allowing us to give your dog our full attention. I'm comfortable caring for both large and small dogs and carefully follow all owner instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and routines. I provide frequent photo updates throughout each stay and always strive to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where your pet feels at home.
