Hi, I am a lifelong dog lover, proud husband and dad, and someone who’s spent nearly 30 years helping people as a mental health professional and consultant. At home, though, I’m happiest surrounded by my family and my two amazing dogs, who love welcoming new furry friends into our little pack. I often joke that dogs have been some of my best teachers (and sometimes better company than humans!), and creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and wagging tails is one of my favorite things. Whether I’m supporting people through my work or caring for pups in my home, my approach is the same: lead with kindness, stay grounded, and make everyone feel like they belong.

I make sure they’re mentally stimulated, well-fed, and always feeling safe and loved. Whether we’re relaxing at home, exploring parks, visiting dog-friendly spots, or going on little adventures, I keep their comfort and happiness at the center of everything. I treat every dog in my care the same way I treat my own: with patience, attention, and a commitment to making them feel secure, understood, and part of the family.

🐾 Hi, I’m Efrain—your dog’s new best friend! I’ve been caring for and loving dogs for over 30 years, and honestly, dogs have held some of the most meaningful relationships of my life. I often say (only half-joking!) that I love dogs even more than humans sometimes. Their honesty, loyalty, and pure-hearted energy have been a constant source of joy and grounding for me. I currently share my home with two wonderful dogs of my own, and they absolutely love the company of other pups. They’re social, playful, and gentle—perfect hosts who make visiting dogs feel welcome and part of the pack.
