Hi! I lost my dog to old age (he was 17) last year, and while I’m not ready to own again yet, would love some dog company periodically.

We’ve used Edwin twice now to watch our two dogs. We come home to tired, happy pups and house that is the way we left it. We plan to hire Edwin again in the future as long as he’s game!
Edwin was great! He took care of our two standard poodles at our house while we were away for about a week. One is a runt rescue who is often very scared/skeptical of strangers but Edwin soon became fast friends with little Basil. I’m sure it took some patience and persistence :) He also seemed game to play endless tug-of-war games with Mischa, the larger one who never met a stranger. We came home from our trip to a spotless house and two healthy, happy dogs. I highly recommend Edwin!
Edwin, was very laid back in his approach, yet reliable and diligent to make sure our pups were well cared for. He did a nice job sticking to their basic routine and does well keeping them happy, fed, and entertained with walks, pets, and play. Would recommend Edwin!

Schedule
I work full-time from home and can take breaks as needed. I frequently like to step away from the computer and get fresh air, so your pup will get plenty of walks.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a secured building, with many great neighbors (both dog and human). I live close to both Cheeseman and Congress Park and love spending time there with a good book and a doggo rolling around in the grass.
A typical day
I jog, and if your dog is up for it, I’ll bring them with. If they’re not up for runs, we can just take a leisurely stroll
