Taking care of pets requires kindness, responsibility and creativity. Kindness because it's the way to a dog's (any animal's) heart. Responsibility because watching somebody's pet is a serious obligation that demands trustworthiness, accountability and a sense of the huge importance of the task, including a recognition of the faith the pets' owners are bestowing on you. Finally, creativity is important because it's a necessary trait that allows you to handle the wide variety of situations that might arise from engaging with pets who vary in personality and temperament. Every pet is unique, so a creative and open-minded approach to each one will go far in making it feel comfortable and safe. Eddie has all these traits in spades.
