I am an experienced pet sitter based in Philadelphia with over 15 years of caring for dogs and cats. I also have five years of combined experience working and volunteering in animal rescue and veterinary medicine, giving me a strong understanding of animal health, behavior, and well-being. My pet-sitting journey began in high school. I cared for the pets of family members and neighbors by walking dogs and checking in on cats. Since then, I’ve cared for dozens of pets through referrals and word-of-mouth. Those experiences have given me the confidence to work with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, breeds, and personalities. My background has also taught me how to safely administer medications, recognize early signs of illness, and respond calmly to each pet’s unique needs. Whether your companion is energetic, shy, senior, or requires special care, I strive to provide the same level of attention and compassion I would give my own pets. What sets me apart is my commitment to giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away. I understand how important it is to have a dependable, responsible sitter you can trust, and I treat every home and every pet with the utmost care and respect. When I’m not caring for animals, I enjoy hiking and photography. I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and plenty of photos so you can see how your pets are doing while you’re away. It has been difficult to find someone who can handle our strong mastiff and our feisty terrier mix and Edward has just the right demeanor and experience. Edward is always in control yet so loving with them both. He treats them like they’re his own and their reaction to him put us at ease from the start. Edward is our sitter for our fur babies. He is very kind and compassionate! Our little friends love to play with him! We are very comfortable trusting him to care for them and snuggle them in our absence!
Edward stayed at our home for a week while we were at the beach. He was great with our young dog, Luna who benefits from a good run and/or walk. Edward kept us updated on Luna and sent multiple pictures....I love the updates. We also have two cats one of which is a picky eater and Edward helped in keeping him fed. I didn't have to worry about my dog or cats or my home while we away. I would highly recommend Edward!
Edward has been pet sitting and walking my 2 dogs for a couple years now. I have recommended him to all of my friends and neighbors. He is dependable, conscientious, and loves animals. I have a 63 lb pittie who is not easy to walk, but he LOVES Edward. I also have a 35 lb pittie mix who is afraid of people and she LOVES Edward too. Edward is trustworthy. He has stayed at my house many times. He will sleep with your pets if you want him to. He cares for them like they are his own. I also know he takes care of several cats as well and he plays with them and takes good care of them.

Schedule
Pet care is my calling. It’s what I want to do full time! I am working full time but looking to leave my current position to fulfill my passion with animal care. I can still walk dogs and care for them now with the schedule I have.
