John was very quick to reply during the booking process, spacious house with big garden and a friendly dog. Was happy to adapt our dog’s routine due to the heat and we had regular updates. Thanks John for a professional service, we would not hesitate to have our dog stay again.

Edward and this family were great. Sherbet felt right at home right away, and was well looked after. Edward sent Lots of updates and photos throughout the stay, was quick to respond and can tell they love dogs. Would recommend.

Schedule

I work part‑time and very flexibly from home, which means I’m able to offer a calm, consistent presence for dogs who enjoy company throughout the day. Whether your dog prefers playtime, regular walks, or simply having someone nearby while they relax, I’m able to be there and provide attentive, personalised care throughout their stay.

Safety, trust & environment

When your dog stays with me, their safety, comfort, and well‑being always come first. I understand how important familiar routines are in helping dogs feel calm and secure, so I follow their usual habits closely to keep everything consistent. I take great care to create a relaxed, nurturing environment where they can settle in, feel at ease, and enjoy genuine comfort in your absence.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day starts with a good walk to stretch our legs and burn off some energy. Living and working in East Devon means your dog can enjoy the places they love most — sandy beach strolls, cliff‑top adventures, peaceful Commons, or shaded woodland trails. Every outing is tailored to your dog’s pace, preferences, and comfort so they can enjoy the day exactly as they like it. Every pet has their own routine, and I make sure that stays consistent and reassuring. If I’m caring for your dog in your home, I treat your space with the same respect and care I give my own. You’ll receive regular updates and plenty of photos to keep you connected while you’re away, unless you’d prefer fewer notifications.

Before your dog stays with me, it’s really helpful to learn a little about their personality, temperament, and the things they love — as well as anything they prefer to avoid. I also like to understand how they interact with other dogs, animals, people, and children so I can plan walks and activities that feel safe, calm, and comfortable for them. Knowing the types of walks they enjoy is important too: how far they like to go, their usual pace, and whether they’re happiest on the beach, up on the cliffs, across the Commons, or exploring the woods. Please also share any allergies, sensitivities, or specific requirements, along with anything else that helps them feel relaxed and happy. The more I know, the more I can tailor their stay and ensure they have a calm, enjoyable time with me
