Nursing Student Dog Walker
I’ve had dogs my whole life! Dobermans, labs, mutts, and hounds! This summer my hound passed, and I was looking to volunteer with animals to be around them again. The shelter is complete opposite side of town. Came to Rover to walk and play with dogs in my area and provide a service at the same time! Love being around dogs especially! They’ve got great individual personalities, and I love walking and staying active as much as they do! Know they’ll be getting exercise, safe, and having a good time hanging out with me!

Safety, trust & environment
Don’t plan on watching dogs at my house, but may be interested in watching dogs in their homes depending on what schedule could be worked out! They’ll be safe and comfortable with me and my presence. I bring calm with me everywhere I go! Have to be to work in an ER! I’ve been around dogs that need a lot of extra patience, due to trauma or just normal apprehension. Just like humans, dogs can be discerning and take some time getting used to new beings. I respect this!

Eddie accommodated me with very short notice. He is a great communicator, punctual and super friendly. My dog loved him on the spot!
He took amazing care of Link and left really detailed information about their walk and everything else that went on! Superb care!

Schedule
My schedule varies widely. I’m a nursing student, with classes Monday and Wednesday for now, random clinicals, and work in the ER as needed! I often have mornings and evenings available for walks! Often times available even more!
