Hi, I’m Edith, nice to meet you! A little about me; I grew up around all kinds of animals: dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and even a rescue squirrel. I have been a dog owner myself for 13 years now. I completely understand how stressful is it to leave our pets with a sitter and how hard it is to find someone trustworthy and communicative who will follow the directives. I struggle finding this person to sit my own dog. I decided to sign up as a sitter so that I can be that person for other dog owners. I promise to care for your dog like I care for mine. I promise to keep you updated throughout the day and give you all the details about their physical & emotional wellbeing, I promise to send lots of photos/videos, to reply promptly to your messages and to follow your directives. Having been a dog owner for over a decade I have a deep understanding of their body language, behaviors & needs. With my experience, I’m confident in my ability to offer your pet the care, attention, and affection they need to feel comfortable and happy.

Edith was amazing in taking care of our pup for an extended period of time. She made our pup feel welcome, was a calming presence during storms/fireworks, and brought out her playfulness with Kohl! Edith was phenomenal at communicating, sending multiple pictures and videos each day, allowing us to stay connected to our pup. Highly recommend!

Planning
I work from home and I have plenty of time to give the dogs attention throughout the day. Dog walks, play time and potty breaks are already a part of my daily routine. Please note that I will charge my boarding rate ($45/day) for daycare bookings exceeding 8 hours per day and/or pick ups later than 7pm.

I have a fenced yard and a pool where your dog can cool off. The grass is not sprayed with chemicals, all organic baby! Although the yard is fenced in and secure, I always supervise to make sure everyone gets along and to make sure nobody is digging or eating something they shouldn’t. There’s a dog bed to lounge on, a shaded area with a fan and water bowl. During the hot hours, the dogs are kept inside in the AC but they will go on multiple potty breaks. We prefer to walk and play mornings and afternoons when it’s a little cooler. While inside the house, the dogs are free to roam, lounge on one of the dog beds or the couch. Your dog needs to be crate trained or okay to be left in an enclosure as I crate the dogs for their own safety if I have to leave. If the dogs must be crated, I keep it under 3 hours. *Your dog MUST be dog friendly* I require a meet and greet before accepting new clients to make sure we are a good match. I can host up to 2 dogs.

First thing we do in the morning at around 7am is go outside for a potty break. Then if the weather permits we’ll play in the yard for a little bit. Then it’s time for breakfast. After breakfast we’ll hang out inside in the A/C and the dogs can lounge on the couch and relax or chew on something yummy. They will go on potty breaks every couple hours. In the PM once it cools down, we can play fetch, tug of war, or swim in the pool. After exercising, we’ll relax inside or outside depending on weather. We can also choose to snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie. At night around 10:30 we’ll go outside for a last potty and the dogs will get crated for the night.
