I currently work for a local rescue with the Admissions team. I am off on the weekends and have a very flexible work week schedule. Some days I even work from home! When I am not working I am either home or taking the dogs on daily trips to the barn, getting pup cups, going to the local dog park close to my house or spending time outside with my kids and fur babies.

I have 8 very animal friendly dogs that would keep your dog company. If your dog is not a huge fan of other animals, I can make arrangements for my pets to be put up and safely distanced. I can also kennel pets as needed. We will be outside playing, snuggling on the couch or enjoying some basic command training if you'd like!

I'd love to take them out in my fenced in yard, get some zoomies and play with toys! I bake my own dog treats for my fur babies so your pet(s) would be included! We would also go on walks around my neighborhood or walk down to the dog park and play!

Hello I am Edie and I am a mother of 4, dog mom of 8, and a horse mom of 2. I love all animals, work and foster for a local Southern Illinois rescue! I have experience with extreme medical cases, giving medications, working with shy/scared dogs, leash and potty training puppies! I would treat your pets like my own and would send updates to you as I check on them. I spoil my fur babies so yours would be as well. In my spare time you will most likely find me and my family out at the barn with our horses Flash and Jeannie and dogs Leo, Jingles, Betty Boop, Peanut, Buster, Peter Pan, Taco and Kodi. I am a very respectful person and would treat your home as I would want my treated, with respect, cleanliness and making sure nothing is out of place. I look forward to meeting you as well as working with your pet!

Edie is wonderful! We never worry about our babies while we are away.
Once again, Edie provided care for our cats while we were away. We trust that she will take care of them and it eases our minds to know she's there each day. She's a true animal lover!
Edie was great with our cats again. We were able to relax knowing they were taken care of and getting medicine each day. She sent updates and photos every day. We highly recommend Edie!
Edie was great with my dogs. She was also great with dealing with my anxiety over leaving Mocha for the first time since I got her. She knows how to deal with insecure dogs also since Razzee lacks confidence and is blind in one eye. She gave both girls a bath also. My girls enjoyed their stay. I will be booking with her again.
