With 15+ years of combined experience caring for dogs and cats and a profound love and respect for all animals, we offer a unique service on Rover by providing an exclusive care environment for each guest that books with us. Our one dog only policy means that we only book one dog, or multiple dogs from the same household, at a time. This means you can put your mind at ease that your furry friend will have to deal with any other dogs during their stay, and that they will receive all the individual attention and love we have to give. Since both of us work from home, we are available all times of the day throughout the weekdays and weekends. The only time we are away for a good amount of time is when we go for hikes or errands, but we are ALWAYS willing to have a canine friend join us for (if appropriate)! We love to have repeat visits with the same doggies as it's great for bonding and creating a warmer home away from home for your loved one. We live in a very dog-friendly community that has a great, big courtyard with a pond, fountain and plenty of grass. Our building also has a dedicated, fenced-in dog park that we could use for exercise/fetch games! We are a three-minute walk to Crestmoor Park, which is a beautifully maintained green space that we frequent very often for walks with our guests. Our unit has a large balcony that your dog will love people/birdie/other doggie watching from, and we are totally non-restrictive in terms of where they can explore or relax in our home (750 sq ft.). Teach us their favorite games, and we will be their super enthusiastic playmates during their stay as well. :) If you are looking for a cozy, calm, safe environment where your dog will truly enjoy their time, and don't want to worry about them being with other animals or people while you're away, WE ARE YOUR SITTERS :P We may not have the "lowest" rates on Rover, but then again, "You always get what you pay for." We promise you will receive the same great value and service we have provided each of our satisfied customers (please read our reviews!) After getting acclimated, we generally let them pick the area of the house that becomes "theirs" for their stay, and make that space comfy for them, putting favorite toys, blankets water and food bowls, close by so that they know they have 'their territory' in our space. Throughout their stay, we check in frequently with our guests and try to bond with them more, petting, playing, and talking nice to them. It's fun to give a good but scratch to see their faces melt, and we love it whenever a new dog discovers the wonders of a nice doggie massage for the first time ;) Over a few hours, we are generally able to get dogs to trust and like us very well, as we haven't had one unsatisfied customer.

I highly recommend Edgar and Sofia; can’t say enough good things about them!! They were communicative, took our Lilly on a ton of fun walks/adventures, sent pictures and videos everyday, were prompt with communications, etc! We felt our girl was in great hands our entire 6 day trip out of the country. Thank you both for everything!!!
Look no further, book Edgar and Sofia right now! I am a VERY anxious dog mama and had to take an overseas trip. I almost didn’t want to go because I was worried we wouldn’t be able to find someone we could trust to take care of our Annie. Then I found Edgar and Sofia. From the moment they met Annie, I knew she was in great hands! Annie had a wonderful two weeks with them. They provided plenty of photo and video updates and we could see Annie was having the time of her life. I couldn’t believe just how relaxed I was while I was overseas! The house was taken care of as well. We are so grateful for Edgar and Sofia and would recommend them to anybody - especially anxious pet parents like myself! Annie is already looking forward to seeing them again!

Schedule
Seamlessly. We work flexible schedules, so can we can easily replicate the routines that owners have established for their pets. This includes feeding times, potty breaks, walks, and play times if those are specific. Just let us know what would make them most comfortable!
