A Home, Not A Shelter
My partner and I have two 5 year old large dogs. They receive a morning walk, a midday hike and afternoon walk on weeknights. On weekends they receive a longer (5-7 miles) hiker. I work from home and they have all day yard access. Your dog will receive the same activities and lifestyle as mine while they stay at our home, unless they are unable to hike. We regularly watch dogs of all sizes, and we love dogs of all sizes.

Edgar & Rene were the best! Dante, my golden, loved staying with them and their dogs. Edgar & Rene really went above and beyond to make sure Dante stayed active, got better off leash, and remained healthy. Dante & I are very grateful for his stay!
Our giant, lovable Newfoundland, Finn had a wonderful stay with Eddie, Rene, and their two dogs. They welcomed Finn (and his drool and fur tumbleweeds) with open arms and Finn easily settled into their daily routine. He loved his daily walks, snuggles, and playtime. We loved our daily picture updates and the easy communication. Eddie and Rene paid great attention to his needs (snuggling during fireworks) and made his stay extremely comfortable. We are so happy to have found Eddie and Rene who love our slobbery, giant dog as much as we do. Finn is looking forward to his next vacation! Thank you Eddie, Rene, Hans, and Guinness!
Our lab (Bongo) had a wonderful stay with Edgar & Rene. They respond quickly to all communication and were great about a last minute meds change as well as dealing with Bongo's "quirky" stair phobia. Seeing pics throughout our dog's stay was much appreciated. We will definitely bring Bongo back again. Highly recommended.
I could see that my dog was having a good time and was in good hands. Edgar and Rene have two well-trained dogs already and spend plenty of time with them out in their yard. Edgar was always available and replied instantly to messages.
I picked up a happy pup after a stay with Eddie and Rene. Eddie took Charlie on walks, hikes, and to the local parks. He has two other dogs who got along well with Charlie. Eddie is quick to respond to texts and sends pictures along. We will have Charlie stay with Eddie and Rene again. Thank you !

I can be home all day. Your dog will be included in any activities my dogs are involved in, and will be welcome to all of our home.

Pets are family. Your dog will not be isolated or stressed. As a sitter, I will provide the same level of service I would expect of someone watching my dogs. Pictures every day. Regular communication with the dogs owner. Strict following of dietary and medical instructions.

When we wake up, after we make coffee my girlfriend Rene takes our dogs on a walk. I work from home and about noon I take the dogs on a 1-3 mile hike. At night, we either do a walk about or a second small 1 mile hike.
