A typical day
A typical day with the pets I watch is full of fun and attention. I play with their favorite toys, throw the ball for energetic games of fetch, and take them on walks to explore and burn off energy. I also make plenty of time for affection—petting them, scratching bellies, and giving behind-the-ear rubs to help them feel relaxed, happy, and loved.

I provide attentive, private pet care tailored to desert living, with hands-on experience in daily dog walking, in-home sitting, puppy care, and senior support. I actively manage heat, hydration, pacing, and paw safety, adjusting each walk to the season and the individual dog. I guide puppies with structure and consistency, support senior dogs with patience and medication awareness, and maintain calm, controlled walks using positive reinforcement. I limit the number of dogs in my care, offer private walks only, and treat every home with discretion and respect—delivering reliable, thoughtful care that keeps dogs safe, enriched, and owners completely at ease.

Edgar is a bright, fun, and reliable dog walker who makes sure my dog never misses a meal, walk, playtime, or belly rub. He works only in the Canyon Corridor neighborhoods of South Palm Springs, which is comforting because he's always close by. You can count on him to give genuine care whether you're away for the day or overnight.
My husband and I recently went on a 17 day cruise, and we employed Edgar to watch over our dog Joshua while we were away. We thought Joshua would be more comfortable at our home, so every day (multiple times a day) Edgar came over to spend time with Joshua, feed him, and take him for extended walks. Edgar did an amazing job! Joshua was kept entertained and cared for so well while we were traveling. Edgar sent us daily texts and messages showing how much fun Joshua was having each day, which really put our minds at ease while we were away. Edgar is extremely easy to work with and was very flexible in meeting our travel schedule. We 100% recommend Edgar if you are considering hiring someone to care for your pet or keep your pet active and entertained. We will ONLY use Edgar again when we need someone to care for Joshua.
