Currently I'm free to look after the pet at all times throughout the day ! Of course I will pop out for an hour or two if sitting but I will not be away for more than that.

Listen to the owners guidelines when sitting in their home , they know best. When out and about always be alert and ensure the safety of the pets by only walking in familiar / busy well lit grounds. Ask the owners if they have a preferred area to walk also.

Behaviours for sure. I would like to know if the dog is anxious or nervous. I’d like to meet the dog once before the initial walk or house sit so they can get used to me. I’d also like to know if the owners prefer the dog to only eat certain food or not to mix with other dogs.
A typical day
Really depends on the owners preferences. If they wish for their dog to mingle and get used to other dogs then I would organise bringing the pooch to a dog meet. Always great for the dog to have a big open space to allow them to gallop and burn off energy.

Edel was amazing with our nervous greyhound. She came to stay with him in our home for a week whilst we went away and she did a brilliant job. Robbie can be nervous with new people and things, but yet he loved having her there and trusted her completely. We were sent regular photos of Robbie throughout the week and on top of that Edel kept our home clean and tidy. Having Edel take such good care of Robbie meant we could completely switch off knowing he was in such capable hands. Thank you Edel!

Edel was brilliant with Otis. When I got home, he was very content and sleepy. Highly recommended and will book again!
Edel was obliging, responsive, and attentive throughout in dogsitting for Puck, our Siberian Husky, and walking him. Our brief visit beforehand gave us a good feeling. Edel was diligent in sending updates and photos - from the time of her arrival and throughout. This enabled us to feel confident that all was well.
