Safety, trust & environment

I make sure every dog feels comfortable, secure, and settled by sticking as closely as possible to their usual routine—whether that’s feeding times, walk schedules, playtime, medication, or simply where they like to sleep. I know how important familiarity is, especially for anxious or rescue dogs, so I always take time to build trust and let them settle at their own pace. In my home, I provide a clean, safe, and relaxed environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. There is plenty of attention, supervision, and affection, with space for both play and quiet time depending on the dog’s personality and needs. In a pet owner’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s space, ensuring everything is kept exactly how they would want it. I’m reliable, attentive, and always communicate clearly, providing regular updates and photos so owners feel reassured while they’re away. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires a lot of trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is always to make pets feel happy, safe, and loved while giving owners complete peace of mind.

A typical day

A typical walk is all about making sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, stimulation, and enjoyment while feeling safe and comfortable. I love taking dogs on nice nature walks with lots of variety, whether that’s woodland trails, open fields, riverside paths, beach walks, or mountain and countryside routes. These walks provide not just physical exercise, but also mental stimulation through new smells, sights, and safe socialisation opportunities. I always adapt the walk to suit your dog’s age, energy levels, and personality—whether they love longer adventurous walks, exploring new places, or prefer a slower and calmer pace. I’m also more than happy to bring along my own friendly dogs if your dog enjoys company and would benefit from having a walking companion for extra confidence, play, and social interaction. Equally, if your dog prefers solo walks and one-to-one attention, I completely respect that too. My goal is always to make every walk enjoyable, enriching, and something your dog genuinely looks forward to.

Pet care experience

Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them comes very naturally to me. Alongside my energetic 15-month-old Golden Retriever, I also have my 5-year-old rescue dog, Sandy, who came from a breeding background. Caring for Sandy has given me valuable experience in patience, trust-building, and understanding dogs who may need extra reassurance, gentleness, and time to feel safe and settled. I have experience with both high-energy young dogs and those who need a calmer, more sensitive approach. I understand the structure, consistency, and training reinforcement younger dogs need, while also recognising how important routine, security, and emotional comfort are for rescue dogs. Every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm and reassuring environment, I adapt to what makes them happiest and most comfortable. I’m very attentive, reliable, and genuinely treat every dog as if they were my own. I know how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone else, so I always make sure owners feel reassured with regular updates, photos, and honest communication. What sets me apart is that I don’t see this as just pet sitting—I genuinely love dogs and the companionship they bring. Their wellbeing, safety, and happiness always come first, and I aim to create a home-from-home environment where they feel relaxed, loved, and cared for.
