When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on following a routine that’s familiar and comforting for the pet. I follow all instructions regarding feeding, medication, and any special needs they may have. I make sure to give them plenty of attention—whether it’s playtime, walks, or simply sitting with them so they don’t feel lonely. I also keep the home tidy by cleaning up after the pets, taking out any trash, and ensuring everything stays in order. Above all, I make sure the pet feels safe and loved, providing updates to the owner as needed so they can relax while they’re away.
