Pet care experience
A loving, dedicated cat space! 😻
I’ve been caring for cats for more than 20 years. I started fostering cats when I was 19 and have continued fostering on and off ever since. In 2023, I began cat sitting through TrustedHousesitters and Rover, and I’ve since completed 50+ house sits across 20+ cities, caring for 75+ cats along the way. Over the years, I’ve cared for cats with very different personalities, routines, and needs, including: • Shy, anxious, or slow-to-warm cats who need patience and space • Highly social, affectionate cats who want lots of companionship • Cats with strong routines or behavioral quirks • Senior cats and cats with medical or special-care needs • Multi-cat households with different personalities, feeding setups, and dynamics I’m comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions. I’ve handled oral medications and understand how important consistency, observation, and calm handling are when a cat has medical needs. I pay close attention to appetite, litter habits, and behavior changes, and I take that responsibility seriously. I recently moved back to my Denver apartment and have created a dedicated 10' x 12' room for cat boarding. It can be used as a private space for cats who need time to acclimate or simply enjoy having their own territory. I offer a quiet, cat-focused home where your cat can settle in without competing with other pets. I don’t have any resident animals, and I only board one client at a time. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each cat as an individual. Some want constant attention, some need a little space at first, and some have very particular opinions about food, litter, playtime, or bedtime. I’m happy to follow their routine and let them set the pace. I mostly do repeat sits, which speaks to the relationships I build with both cats and their humans. When a cat is in my care, I treat their comfort, safety, and routine as a genuine responsibility—not just a checklist of tasks.

I’m so happy I chose Dyanna to take care of our Sphynx, Monica! She was absolutely wonderful with her and sent us photos throughout her stay, which made being away from Monica so much easier and gave us such peace of mind. What really made me smile was when we came to pick Monica up. She was obviously excited to see us, but she kept going back to Dyanna for affection, rubbing against her like she wanted to take Dyanna home with us. It was so sweet to see that they had genuinely bonded. I’m incredibly grateful for how well Dyanna cared for Monica, and if we ever need a sitter again, I will absolutely reach out to her. Thank you so much, Dyanna! ❤️

Dyanna was a great sitter for our cat Lola. It seems Lola warmed right up to her which is sometimes tough for her! Would most definitely book with her again in the future!

Dyanna took great care of my house and cat!

Dyanna took such good care of my sweet baby--I cannot express how grateful I am. Not only that, but she left my place spotless for when I got home. Seriously THE BEST.

Dyanna was a wonderful sitter for our 2 kitties! She was kind, attentive and immediately trustworthy. She sent photos and videos while we were gone and kept us updated. Would highly recommend her for anyone who loves their pets like family!

Dyanna was absolutely amazing to and with our fur babies while we were gone for a week! She was extremely punctual (even during a snow storm), great at communication, and even would stay for much longer than planned to give them extra attention. Would highly recommend!

Schedule
I work remotely as a part-time Asset/Project Manager, so I’m home most of the day and have a very flexible schedule. I’m rarely away from home for more than a few hours at a time, which means boarding cats get plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. I love having a cat nearby while I work—or occasionally in my lap!—and I’m happy to take regular breaks from my computer for pets, playtime, and attention. 🐱

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I’m a non-smoker, and I keep my home clean, calm, and cat-friendly. I don’t have any resident pets, and I only board one cat at a time, so your cat won’t have to compete for space, food, attention, or resources. I take safety seriously and am careful about doors, windows, food, plants, and anything else a curious cat might get into. I also pay attention to changes in appetite, litter box habits, energy, and behavior so I can address anything unusual promptly. Most importantly, I want cats to feel comfortable and secure while they’re here. I’m happy to give a social cat plenty of attention and playtime, while giving a shy or nervous cat the space and time it needs to acclimate. 🐱
A typical day
A typical day depends on the personality and routine of the cat! Some cats want lots of playtime and attention, while others are happier exploring their surroundings, lounging in a sunny spot, or having some quiet time to themselves. My ideal day includes plenty of playtime—wand toys are my favorite!—along with pets, cuddles, and companionship for cats who want them. I’m equally happy to let a shy or independent cat set the pace. I enjoy getting to know each cat’s personality and figuring out what makes them happiest and most comfortable. 🐱

- Please let me know about anything that will help me understand your cat and make their stay as comfortable as possible! I’m experienced with kittens, seniors, shy or anxious cats, and cats with special needs, and I’m comfortable administering both oral and injectable medications. Before your cat’s stay, I’d especially like to know: • Has your cat boarded somewhere before? If so, how did they do? • Are there any medical issues, medications, special care needs, or dietary restrictions I should know about? • Are there any behavioral quirks I should expect—such as anxiety, hiding, scratching, biting, getting into things, nighttime activity, or difficulty adjusting to new environments? None of these are necessarily deal breakers; knowing ahead of time simply helps me prepare and give your cat the right kind of care. • How does your cat feel about being handled, picked up, or put into their carrier? • Are they completely reliable with the litter box? • What does their normal routine look like, including food schedule, portions, treats, playtime, and sleeping habits? • Is there anything that makes them nervous or that I should avoid? • What are their favorite toys, activities, treats, or ways of getting attention? • Will you be providing their food, litter, medications, and other supplies, or is there anything you’d like me to provide? The more I know ahead of time, the better I can help your cat settle in and feel at home. 🐱
