Information Dyane S. would like to know about your pet

I like to know your dogs general schedule and any walking habits they may have, dietary needs or restrictions and their temperament toward other animals they may see when on walks.

A typical day

Depending on your dog, I love to hike or take local walks in your neighborhood- a well exercised pet is a happy pet. In the summer I do take care to not over expose dogs to heat and humidity, and will utilize indoor exercise or yard exercise as needed. Same with cold weather extremes.

Pet care experience

It can be stressful finding loving, experienced quality pet care when you have to leave your pets, for work, a day, a week, or longer. I offer you and your beloved fur family the experience, maturity, good judgment and loving care to ensure their needs are met while you are away from them. As a lifelong pet owner/ animal rescue volunteer I offer a lot of experience with animals of all ages. I know the value of having your beloved animals cared for in a loving, warm environment with appropriate care and attention. I was never comfortable boarding my own pets, and I have had the benefit of in-home care and know how much happier my pets were for it when I traveled. I offer TLC , attention and supervision for your pet to feel secure, loved, played with , exercised and well cared for while you are away. I am happy to keep to the general schedule you have set for your pet, and playtime and TLC are the standard. I have experience with medications, elderly and special needs pets. Having someone with good judgment and experience can make all the difference in the care your pet receives. I establish a quick rapport with most all animals and I also have the patience to let a more shy animal trust me at their own pace. I am active with dog walks and find that the mental and physical benefit of a regular walk is invaluable to your dog's overall well being and happiness if it's appropriate for their specific needs. I care for all animals with the love and attention I care for my own, and my happy clients all agree. I currently board up to 3 dogs and have a 30 lbs and under weight limit. If you need your dog to be the sole dog in my care I can usually provide that with a surcharge. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and they have free run of the home. They will sleep in beds in the bedroom, as well. Crate trained preferred, or they should be comfortable in an x-pen style containment for any short periods where I will need to step out. There is a 2 night minimum stay for 3 day holiday weekend boarding, and 6 night minimum for major holiday boarding and school vacation weeks. Please Note- the Rover app will overcalculate the rate at times if you have multiple pets. Please feel free to reach out to me so I can make sure the rates are correct, especially if you have dogs and cats.

I’m afraid to leave a review because then Dyane’s schedule will fill up! Haha, but seriously, Dyane is the only person we feel comfortable leaving our two (not so easy) little fluffers with. She is loving, patient, and absolutely on top of medical care. We are so lucky to have found her!!

I highly recommend Dyane. As many other reviewers have said, she is a wonderful person - very kind, reliable, a great communicator - and takes her role as a caretaker for your pet very seriously. She watched my senior dog who has some health issues this month, and took such good care of her. My dog was clearly very comfortable and happy being with Dyane and at her house. Dyane took really good care of her, including her special needs (meds, going out often, special diet). I really appreciated that she genuinely seemed to care about my dog and enjoyed her (and her funny personality) - it didn't feel like this was just a job for her. Dyane went above and beyond to make it a great stay for my dog and to make sure that I never had to worry about a thing while I was away - she made sure she had all of the necessary health/vet information before we left and she sent updates at least a couple times a day while we were away. I would give her more than 5 stars if I could:).
