About Dusty E.

Safety, trust & environment

I want to make sure every animal I care for is comfortable And get to know their personality and what they enjoy so it can be an enriching experience for them and not stressful.

Information Dusty E. would like to know about your pet

To make sure your dog has the best experience possible, here are a few things that are super helpful for me to know ahead of time: • Any medical conditions, allergies, or medications? • How do they do on a leash? Any reactivity or quirks I should be aware of? • Are they dog-friendly — or would they prefer solo adventures? • What’s their typical routine for meals, potty breaks, and naps? • Any fears, triggers, or behaviors I should be mindful of (thunder, bikes, strangers, etc.)? • Favorite treats, toys, or bribe-worthy tricks? • Anything you’d like me to keep consistent from your usual routine? The more I know, the better I can make them feel safe, happy, and right at home — even when they’re not!

A typical day

Whether I’m stopping by for a walk or hanging out for the day, your dog gets the VIP treatment — sniffs, strolls, and snuggles (if they’re into that). Walks are more than just a potty break. I take time to let your dog explore, move at their own pace, and enjoy some one-on-one attention. I keep things safe, enriching, and customized to your dog’s needs — whether they’re an energetic explorer or a slow-and-steady meanderer. For drop-in visits or daytime hangs, I follow your routine to keep things familiar and stress-free. Meal time? Medication? Special requests? Done. I do have two friendly cattle dogs of my own, Leia and Griff, who are always up for a new friend — but your pup will only meet them if you’re 100% comfortable with it. No overnights at my place, no surprise group playdates — just reliable, loving care where your dog feels most at home.

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Dusty — full-time dog lover, part-time treat dispenser, and your pup’s next favorite human. I share my home (and heart) with two Australian Cattle Dogs: Leia the bossy big sister and Griff the chaotic little brother. They keep me on my toes and have trained me quite well in the art of fetch, belly rubs, and spotting squirrels from 300 yards. Whether your dog needs a cozy place to stay, a midday stroll, or just someone who understands that “zoomies” are a way of life — I’ve got you covered. I’m experienced, attentive, and treat every dog like they’re part of my pack (yes, baby talk included). Let’s make some tails wag! Growing up, I fostered senior dogs, walked pups for elderly neighbors, and even cared for a retired military K9 until he was reunited with his handler — so your dog is in good hands, and likely good company too.

I can’t recommend Dusty enough as a pet sitter! They’ve taken care of my pets multiple times, and each experience has been nothing short of amazing. She are responsible, attentive, and genuinely love animals—which shows in how comfortable and happy my pets are around them. Whether it’s going for walks, feeding schedules, or just giving them love and attention, Dusty goes above and beyond. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and kind to care for your furry family members, Dusty is the perfect choice!
