Dustin is my son. When he was in middle school, we got a dog. It was his responsibility to walk the dog everyday. He took his duties seriously and loved taking care of her until she passed away. A few years later, we got another dog and since he was older, he was even more involved in the dog's care, including attending training classes and working with the dog in its training, until he went to college. As an adult, Dustin and his wife, then girlfriend, got their current dog as a puppy, At the time, they were living in an apartment so it was not very convenient to housetrain the puppy because it had to be taken out and walked, they couldn't just open a door and let it out.
