I have been caring for and watching dogs since I was a young child. Unfortunately, my wife and I are not currently able to get a dog due to the uncertainty of work schedules and being in the military. Therefore, I decided that there was no better place for me than rover! I would love spending the afternoon walking, playing, hiking, or running with your dog! I have plenty of space for your dog to explore outside, or take them to mini trips to the dog park or to get a pupcup! I grew up with 2 cats and a boxer, but have experience caring for pitbulls, dachshunds, golden retrievers, red heeler, pugs, etc. I am also willing to take the time to learn the specific needs of your pet and take the extra step to build a relationship with them to give them the care they need. Please read the "cat care details" to see how I would care for your kitty friends! I currently work part time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I offer boarding 7 days a week and pet walking and at home visits in the mornings/fternoons before 3 pm or anytime on the weekends! I have an open yard for your dogs to run or explore. Your doggos are free to lounge on my furniture or bring their own beds & blankies to sleep on. When caring for dogs at their home, I will gladly take them on however long of a walk they're used to. (I love walking, running, and hiking).

Our 11 year old boy had a great time with Dustin & Olivia. 4 days away and we were never worried.
Dustin was great. He sent us lots of pictures when he came by to take our girls out during the day, and even managed to get some really cute shots. He did a great job. He was quick to respond to our messages, communicated well, and was friendly and easy to deal with. Both of our dogs seemed happy when we got home each day. I was worried that our dogs would be too much for him or bust out of the front door and run off, but everything went smoothly. Considering that the only mistake he made was filling up the treat balls before playing with them and putting the dogs back in their crates (because then one of our dogs just wanted to go back in her crate with the treat ball instead of playing!), we are very happy! I was anxious about leaving my dogs in the care of someone else, but I feel confident about booking Dustin for future dog care needs.

Schedule
I currently work as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructor and as a bouncer. I work mostly 2nd shift (4pm-2am) so I have a lot of availability during the day. Additionally my wife works the opposite shift (and has a way more popular rover account than me) so between the 2 of us your animal will have almost 24 hour coverage!

I love walking and running with your animals or hanging around having lazy days. I work with the needs and wants of your animals and I understand every animal has a very distinct personality so I do my best to work around that! I have experience giving animals medicines as well and will take any special considerations in stride that your animal may need
