Private Dog Park for your Pup!
With 20 years of experience caring for dogs of every size, age, and temperament, I offer something pretty rare: a full 2-acre fenced property that functions like a private dog park, plus a dedicated lower-level space in the home for pups who'd rather stay close to their people. Whether your dog wants to run wild all day or curl up next to a human, they'll get exactly the kind of stay that suits them. I can administer medication, have experience with senior dogs and special needs pets, and I'm careful about the mix of dogs I board together to make sure every stay is a good match. For new pups, I require a meet and greet and (for stays longer than 2 nights) a trial overnight, since it's the best way to make sure your dog will thrive here, not just survive the visit. My family has owned, rescued, fostered, and advocated for animals for years. My sweet girl Honey, who inspired this whole setup, lived to almost 16, with her siblings making it to 16 and 17. Lots of love, good food, and low stress really is the magic formula. I'm so grateful to be back boarding old friends and meeting new ones.

Dustin is truly exceptional with dogs, and it’s clear from the moment you meet him that his love for animals is unmatched. He went above and beyond to make sure our ladies had everything they needed and treated them with the same love, attention, and care as if they were his own. Knowing they were with someone who genuinely cared about them gave us so much peace of mind. Our ladies absolutely loved spending time with Dustin and Leo, and his property is a dog’s dream! There is so much space for them to explore, play, frolic, and just enjoy being dogs. It was wonderful knowing they weren’t simply being “watched,” but were getting to spend their time in such an amazing environment with someone who truly enjoys having them there. Finding someone you completely trust to care for your dogs, especially when they’re such an important part of your family, is not always easy. Dustin made us feel completely comfortable leaving our ladies in his care, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely trust him with them again and can’t recommend him highly enough!

I’m thrilled that I happened upon Dustin’s profile. He was amazing with all three of my pups and was clear to me he’s well versed in everything dog. He managed my crew and their idiosyncrasies exceptionally well. I’m sometimes nervous leaving my dogs with, well anyone really, and now I don’t have to worry. I felt super comfortable with Dustin and it’s clear that my dogs are a big fan. Also, Dustin’s pooch Leo is a big love bug. My guys loved frolicking with him in Dustin’s huge yard. I’d give them both 6 stars if I could! Highly recommend!
Dustin and his dog Leo were absolutely amazing! Elsa and Reiner loved staying with them and came home happy, healthy, and clearly very well taken care of. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such great hands. Dustin has the perfect property for dogs of ALL sizes, with plenty of space for them to run, play, explore, and just enjoy being dogs. You can immediately tell that Dustin genuinely loves animals and puts a lot of care into making sure every dog feels comfortable, safe, and at home. Leo was also such a great companion for Elsa and Reiner, and they clearly had an awesome time together. Dustin kept our dogs healthy, active, and well cared for throughout their stay, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're looking for someone you can truly trust with your dogs, especially if you have larger breeds, I can't recommend Dustin enough. We will absolutely be bringing Elsa and Reiner back. 10/10 experience!
Once again Juno had the time of her life with Dustin. She truly did not want to leave because she was having so much fun all week.
Dustin was absolutely fantastic! He went above and beyond to make both us and our anxious pup feel completely at ease. From the start, he showed a natural gift for calming Smitty, who has some separation anxiety, and he kept us updated throughout the stay with multiple photo updates that truly put our minds at rest. Dustin’s setup is a dream for any dog, with a sprawling yard where they can roam and play freely. Smitty got VIP treatment, having the place to himself along with Dustin's friendly dog as a playmate. We can't recommend Dustin’s kind, expert service enough – he’s the best!

Schedule
I work from home and stay close to home often, preferring to take my holidays off season so I can be available for boarding and day care when my clients are away. ⭐️ Standard drop off/pickup hours: 8am - 7pm, after hours rates apply ⭐️

Your pup will be AirTagged immediately at drop-off for extra peace of mind. They'll enjoy a 2-acre, fully fenced property, along with a dedicated lower level of the home built into the cool hillside, where the dogs love to escape on a hot day. It's a true "destination resort" for dogs. For new dogs, I require a meet and greet, and in most cases a trial overnight stay, before booking a visit longer than 2 nights. Meet and greets are helpful, but it's hard to accurately assess how a dog will do here without an overnight. I also take great pride in making sure the mix of dogs is the best possible match. This place is heaven for the right dogs!
Pets
A typical day
Each morning your pup will romp around the property, to explore and go potty. Later, we may go for a hike or walk around some of the many local trails that Novato has to offer, though most of the time the pups are busy on the property safely exploring all its glorious smells! In good weather, dogs may have free rein to play outside all day, lay in the sun, and roam around. However if the owner prefers, they can stay inside and under tight supervision.
