Calm, attentive in-home care for pets of all personalities I know leaving your pets behind can be stressful. My goal is to make it easier—for both of you. I provide individualized in-home pet care so your pets can stay comfortable in the place they know best: home. Whether I'm caring for a dog with puppy energy, an independent cat, a senior companion, or a rescue still learning to trust, I take the time to get to know each pet as an individual and adapt my care to what helps them feel safe, comfortable, and understood. I've always found myself drawn to the animals that just need someone to slow down and meet them where they are. The shy cat. The senior dog. The rescue who's still figuring out that people can be safe. The pet with a page of detailed instructions because someone knows them inside and out. Those are often my favorite kinds of clients. Growing up with rescue dogs and cats sparked a lifelong love of animals. Since then, I've cared for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice, rats, chickens, reptiles, and plenty of unique personalities along the way. I believe good pet sitting isn't just about showing up—it's about paying attention. I pay close attention to routines, body language, personalities, and the little details that help each pet feel secure. Some pets want adventure. Others need patience, quiet companionship, or extra reassurance. I'm happy to meet them where they are. Because I work remotely, I'm able to spend more time at home with your pets during longer stays, helping keep their routines as consistent as possible. Communication is one of the most important parts of the experience I provide. You'll receive regular updates and plenty of photos throughout your trip so you can relax knowing exactly how your pets are doing. I treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own. I'm happy to bring in packages, water plants, take out the trash, and leave your home clean, comfortable, and ready for your return. My hope is simple: that you come home to happy pets, a well-cared-for home, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing they were in good hands.

I provide care in my clients' homes so pets can remain in the environment where they feel safest and most comfortable. My goal is to keep their routines as consistent as possible while you're away. I care for every home with the same respect I would my own. Along with caring for your pets, I'm happy to bring in mail and packages, water indoor plants, rotate lights, take trash bins out, and handle other small household tasks that help you return to a home that's just as welcoming as when you left. You'll also receive regular updates and photos throughout your trip so you can relax knowing exactly how your pets are doing while you're away. If additional home care is needed (such as gardening or other larger projects), I'm always happy to discuss those separately.

Dusti Lee was not just excellent with Ollie, she truly understood his needs. She sent regular updates, which reassured me during my first time leaving him in eight years. Her understanding of Ollie's needs was so great that I'm not even sure if my dog missed me when I walked through the doors, as he was looking for her. Dusti Lee was not only excellent with Ollie, but also showed great respect for my home during her stay. Truly above and beyond care for my dog. Dusti-Lee was all round amazing!!!💖 She definitely has a special way with animals and Jewel took to her immediately during the meet and greet!🥰 So I could already tell that she was going to be an ideal sitter. Dusti-Lee was not only warm and loving with Jewel (which is really needed to gain Jewel’s trust), she was proficient at following our complex instructions closely! Not only was she so very responsive when I had to reach out at short notice because our sitter canceled on us with no warning, but she was wonderfully communicative throughout the stay!! I’ve no doubt Jewel loved Dusti-Lee, and we’d use her again.💞 (Also, we were so grateful that the house seemed even cleaner than we’d left it! Thank you, Dusti-Lee!💗)

At the end of the day, neither one's dog, nor one's house can speak, but when you come home to your house as clean as the way you left it (if that is something important to you, if not perhaps cleaner?), and your dog is calm and happy to see you but not desperate, you can get a pretty clear picture of the experience they had. And there is no doubt in my mind that Dusti-Lee and my dog bonded-- in fact, when it came time to go to sleep, I had to carry my pup back to my room from the bed where she had been sleeping with Dusti. So my review is YES, Dusti will take care of your most precious beings and home as it if were hers. I am very grateful to have benefitted from her careful and attentive care!
Dusti-Lee was super helpful and communicative and went above and beyond to comfort my kitties when I was away! I could tell she is such an animal lover and it was so nice knowing my babies were in such good hands!

Schedule
I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to spend more time at home with your pets during house sits and longer stays. This allows me to better maintain their routines while providing companionship, potty breaks, play, enrichment, and plenty of attention throughout the day. My schedule is planned around the pets in my care, and I intentionally limit my bookings so I can provide thoughtful, individualized care to every family I work with.
