WHAT TO EXPECT WITH YOUR PET(S)' SCHEDULE: Since my mom is retired and home most of the time, pet care fits perfectly into her daily routine. She’s able to give lots of attention and keep a close eye on every pet throughout the day. Whether it’s playtime, meals, medication, or just relaxing together, she’s always nearby to make sure they’re comfortable and happy.

ALL ABOUT SAFETY, TRUST, & ENVIRONMENT: My mom’s home is warm and welcoming — the kind of place where pets can relax and feel comfortable right away. Your pet will have the whole house to themselves, since my mom doesn't have any pets of her own at this time. Pets are welcome on the furniture and encouraged to settle in like they’re at home. The house gets plenty of natural light, which many pets love for sunbathing and quiet naps. We also have a large enclosed backyard for your pet(s) to enjoy with our supervision. There is a swimming pool, but pets are closely watched to ensure they do not go into the water.

SPECIAL NOTES: It’s important for my mom and I to know about your pet ahead of time, so please let us know if your dog or cat has any special needs, routines, or behaviors we should be aware of. That way, my mom can care for them the way they’re used to and help them feel right at home. She’s especially great with senior dogs who need extra love, patience, and attention. Her grandma-style care means taking things slow, offering plenty of reassurance, gentle walks, help with medications, and lots of affection to make sure they’re comfortable and never rushed. She also loves caring for cats of all ages—from playful kittens to seniors. She pays close attention to their personalities—whether they want to play, hide, explore, or just sit quietly nearby—and adjusts her care to what makes them feel safest and happiest. With her grandma-style approach, every pet gets calm, loving, one-on-one attention in a peaceful home.

WHAT PETS CAN EXPECT ON A TYPICAL DAY: A typical day at my mom’s place is calm and built around each pet’s needs. Mornings start with breakfast, fresh water, and some quiet time to help everyone settle in. Dogs get backyard time, short walks, or gentle play depending on their energy, while cats follow their own routines with play, climbing, or lounging in sunny spots. Throughout the day, she spends lots of time with the pets — her grandma-style care includes gentle play, brushing, cuddles, and just keeping them company while they nap. She sticks to their usual schedules as much as possible, with meals, medications, and rest, never rushing them. Evenings are slower and relaxed, with time together before dinner and winding down for the night. The focus is always on keeping each day calm, comfortable, and familiar so every pet feels safe, loved, and right at home.

My mom, who will be providing the hands-on care, has been an animal lover her entire life. She grew up in Vietnam surrounded by cats and dogs, so taking care of them has always come naturally to her. . After moving to the U.S. over 40 years ago, she became the person friends and family would always ask to pet sit because of how patient, calm, and caring she is with animals. . Now that she’s retired, she has the time to give pets lots of attention, affection, and company throughout the day. We like to call it “Retired Grandma-Style Pet Care” ❤️ . . *WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US* . • A calm, cozy home where pets can relax and feel comfortable • No other pets in the home, so your pet gets the house to themselves • Lots of attention, cuddles, companionship, and reassurance • Care that follows your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible • Medication administration if needed • A large enclosed backyard for supervised outdoor time • We do have a swimming pool, but pets are always closely supervised outside to make sure they do not go in the water • Pets are welcome on the furniture and treated like family • Regular updates, photos, and videos from me so you always know how your pet is doing . We know leaving your pets behind can feel stressful, especially when you’re traveling. One thing we really focus on is helping pet parents feel comfortable while they’re away through communication, transparency, and consistent check-ins. . My mom and I work as a team. My mom handles all of the hands-on care, and I handle updates and communication so you never feel out of the loop. I had a wonderful experience and would absolutely trust them with Johnny again. From the very beginning, communication was excellent. They took the time to arrange a meet and greet, answered all of my questions, and made me feel comfortable leaving Johnny in their care. Throughout his stay, I received regular updates and photos, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. Johnny had a couple of accidents adjusting to a new environment, but they handled everything with kindness, patience, and understanding. They paid attention to his individual needs, let him out more frequently, and even took the time to clean him up and make sure he was comfortable. It was clear they genuinely cared about his well-being. I especially appreciated all the little details they shared about his day, from his walks and trips to the park to him lounging around. It was obvious that Johnny was getting lots of attention, affection, and companionship. Overall, they were caring, communicative, and professional, and I could tell Johnny was in good hands. I highly recommend them and would happily book with them again.

Wow, was this a great experience! Dubele and her daughter, Van were incredibly communicative, kind, and patient with me from first contact all the way to picking my cats up at the end of the booking. They sent daily photos and provided updates as often as I asked (and even when I didn’t!). Overall, I cannot recommend Dubele enough as a petsitter. My cats, who are terrified of new people, were curled up on her lap by day 2! I will definitely be using their services again anytime my cats need overnight boarding.
Thank you for taking care of Yuki. This is our first time using Rover for our precious baby, so we were super nervous about leaving Yuki to another family. The moment Yuki saw Dubele and Van, I knew right away that Yuki loved them. She has good instincts towards people who love animals and was so excited the first time she met Dubele and Van. I really appreciated all the updates and pictures throughout Yuki’s stay with them. They’re perfect for my Yuki as they only care for one pet family at a time.
