Hello, thank you for taking the time to read introduction in its entirety ! - To start I took care of and was responsible for my dad’s golden retriever for 7 years while my dad battled kidney disease. I also grew up around our family Westie & German Shepard in my home that were super attached to me. So I am very attentive to a dogs need for love and care when away from the owner. Also first time guests and last minute requests must schedule a meet and greet I use to be flexible with this but situations have happened that caused me no longer be flexible. In addition I do not accept any pets without a safe reliable comfortable crate. As I do not allow free roaming in my home when I am not present. Your pet safety is my top priority. Being in a new environment for the first time pets will be pets. They aren’t perfect. Feel free to ask me any questions if need be. **(For example old pictures of pet only to arrive and they are 3 times the size) - 100% we have to have a meet n greet prior to sitting. Returning customers the meet and greet does not apply. For last minute requests please contact me directly I will try my best to accommodate but please be advised there may be a fee associated depending on the circumstance. Especially if there is no time to set up a meet n greet and I’m only going off photos. If you have any questions please set up a time with me to hop on a call using the rover app. Please note, sending me a message on the rover app at any point inquiring if I’m available to babysit your pet, means you have read my entire introduction page in its entirety and you are comfortable with understanding last minute bookings or no meet greets may have a fee associated if you choose to let me babysit your pet. I try to work with my clients especially if they are first time customers. Typically what ever the initial subtotal is when you book with me is what will be my fee that I would want to receive through rover. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Duane was great! We had a meet and greet at the park near him. On the day of drop off Duane asked about any additional care instruction and throughout the stay kept us updated with texts and photos. We had a video call on the second day and could see Reed was doing well. We were thankful to have someone talking care of her while we were out of town for the weekend and would use him again if we needed a sitter in the future.
He was amazing! He took my fur bay last minute and kept me updated. I really appreciate him and next time I’m in town I’ll definitely look him up.
I left my dog Buddha with Duane for 4 days, and he was very nice by interacting with me each day. He sent videos of his daily walks with Buddha, and also allowed me to FaceTime him to check in on my dog. I would advise people to reach out to him if you want your animal in great hands, and I will definitely call him again to watch my dog.
This was our second time booking with Duane and we couldn’t be happier with the great care he showed our Havapoo, Chico! Thank you so much Duane! Chico comes home so relaxed after staying with you which confirms how well he is taken care of! Thank you for the daily updates and pictures while he was with you. Duane watched our Pomeranian in his home for 4 days while we were out of town. I love my fur baby and am very particular about who takes care of her. Duane is such a kind person and listened to all the details about caring for my little diva. She took to him straight away which she rarely does with anyone so that made me feel comfortable. Duane took her for walks and gave her all the attention that she loves. He reached out to us daily to let us know how she was doing. He even offered video chats! I highly recommend Duane to anyone who is looking for loving care for their dog. We plan to use him in the future when going out of town as well as when we need a sitter for even just a few hours.
I am really glade I picked Duane to watch and take care of my baby dog. We left to go out of town for five days and everyday he gave us an update and even got to FaceTime her! He treated our dog like it was his own, we could tell she was in good hands. I would definitely recommend Duane to anyone, your dog will be in good hands!

Going out for long walks outside with the owners permission. If the owner approves occasionally take the pets to the beach which is close by for a nice cool walk.
