***Currently only booking in Eagle River*** Hey there! I'm an animal lover from Louisiana, transplanted in Alaska :). I have several pets of my own and treat them like my children. I am the mother of a gorgeous LGDs named Mera that gets to live a leisurely house dog life, a tortoise RuPaul, and a flock of chickens. I have also been a pet parent to snakes, fish, a hedgehog, and various rehabilitated wildlife critters. It can get a bit like a wild kingdom in my home sometimes. I look forward to meeting you and your pet for an interview and seeing if we are a good match. During the week I can do drop-ins in the morning before work, and evenings after work, and also overnights. I'm available most weekends as well. I am happy to discuss the individual needs of your pets along with expectations. I always provide daily photos of your pet for your peace of mind.

I have a large outdoor dog run if your pet prefers to be out, and a quiet neighborhood for leisurely walks. Dogs are kept inside at night, and during the day if they aren’t the outdoorsy sort.

Beyond exceptional service! Dru was able to watch our dog and cat for a week on one days notice. Photos/updates were sent and upon realizing I had booked the dates a day short, she didn't hesitate to help us out and check on the kiddos. DON'T think twice, and book with Dru!
Drusilla exceeded my expectations while watching my dogs and home in every way. We had a family medical emergency while we were gone and she was completely flexible and willing to accommodate any schedule changes that were needed. Her communication with us was wonderful and we came home to a spotless house and very happy dogs! I would absolutely trust and love for her to care for our dogs in the future.
Highly recommend. 10000/5 Stars ⭐️If you’re looking for a someone who will truly care for your pets like they are her own, Drusilla is the best. She house sat and looked after our two dogs for a few weeks over the holidays. She kept the house and pets very happy while we were gone and sent us regular updates on the dogs with pictures and videos. One of our senior dogs had a medical condition that worsened while we were away. Drusilla promptly inform us and coordinated emergency care in the middle of the night while we were across the country. I honestly cannot recommend a more professional and kind sitter to trust with your fur babies. I’m very grateful to have found her to look after my pups. 🐶 💕🐾
She was amazing! She kept us updated on how our dogkiddos were doing and was really great with them. She was like the perfect dog-aunt for all of them. The fact that she did not run away when she found out that we have 7 dogs is a testament of her character. She was able to handle all of them well and my dogs were very comfortable with her. I definitely recommend her, especially if you are in Eagle River. She tries her best to accommodate you in her schedule and is always very considerate. I look forward to booking her again. This is the third time Dru has taken care of me while my two-legged dad has gone on a trip. She is such a friendly sitter; she cares for me as if I am her own. She feeds me, cuddles with me, brings a friend over to play with me, even stays with me at times so I am not alone all night. She even cleans up the fur I shed so my two-legged dad doesn't come home to a dirty house. Oh, and don't tell dad, but she lets me have a pup-cup every once in a while. Schedule
I do work full time however I have weekends free, and I can go home on lunch for short walks and potty breaks. I tend to be an introvert, so I don’t have a busy after hours social life. Puppy snuggles at home make for an ideal evening!
