Availability
Now that I am back in Fairmont, I am free with a decent amount of notice for most pet care needs. My schedule is extremely open and flexible--I just need enough time to secure transportation.

Safety, trust & environment
At home, I have a sweet and needy tabby named Billy Porterhouse. He is very easy and likes to sleep and eat treats and "patrol" the house. My parents' dog Madde is a black lab who puts up with Billy, as best as she can. I have been a trusted sitter for my close friends back in NYC and have gotten close with their dogs and cats. Always respectful of their space and am trusted with multiple keys and key codes, as well as feeding and medication schedules.
Information Drew K. would like to know about your pet
Special needs info is a must-know. I can accommodate a lot, but any specifics would be beneficial (like aversion to children or loud noises). I know a few dogs that despise skateboards. Little details help in the long run! Better to be prepared than to be surprised.
A typical day
I enjoy long walks and exploring with pups. If they're adventurous, especially if the weather is nice, I'm happy to take a bit of a longer walk. I wasn't a fan of the public dog runs in New York, but I am willing to explore around town here in Fairmont. As for cats, if they want to play, I will happily entertain them for a while, but if they would rather eat and rest, that is totally fine. Snuggles are a bonus for me!

Pet care experience
I've been taking care of so many animal friends since high school. My first job was working for a veterinarian. I was the kennel caretaker, making sure everyone was fed and walked (for dogs) and played with and such. The "cat room" was always my favorite. I would make sure the kitties would all get attention. It was the highlight of my shift. And I continue to bring joy to the kitties and puppers (as well as myself) through my pet-sitting duties.
