I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10, acting as the primary caretaker for two Havaneses and one cat throughout my childhood and adolescence. As an adult, I’m the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, with a regular rotation of pets with whom I’m entrusted. I love both dogs and cats, and am experienced with both elderly animals who need special attention and young puppies with lots of energy. I’ve always loved animals but don’t currently have any pets of my own, so I jump at the chance to spend time with the pets of my friends and family.

Drew took excellent care of our little guy. When we picked our pup up from Drew, you could tell that he was comfortable and happy and had a great stay. I would definitely choose Drew again.
Fitz had a great time with Drew! Drew was very communicative, listened and asked questions when we did our meet and greet, and checked in with me if he thought Fitz wasn’t feeling his best due to his arthritis. Also sent great pics! I would definitely use Drew again and recommend him to others

Schedule
I’m a consultant who works from home full-time with predictable and flexible work hours. I am typically able to flex my schedule to accommodate per sitting needs and have regular breaks throughout the work day to attend to pets as needed.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a ground floor apartment with a large private patio perfect for outdoor doggy play time. I’m also located in the Adams Morgan area of DC with very close proximity to both Meridian Hill Park and Rock Creek Park, perfect for safe and easy dog walking. Overall the neighborhood is safe and quiet, with many pet-friendly businesses and an animal hospital on my block.
A typical day
Typical day will involve multiple playtimes and 3-4 walks to nearby parks where your dog can get exercise, engagement, and the chance to explore new areas.
