Hi, I’m Andrea. I used to own a deaf dog, but she passed away at the ripe old age of 16 in September 2021. From her, I learned how to train and own a dog that is deaf. I have since learned how to also train and take care of a blind and blind/deaf dog. I own three other dogs: Lyra an 84lb white shepherd mix, Sherlock a mutt, who is an anxiety riddled derp, and Mithrandir, a blind/deaf Catahoula Leopard Dog. I first began pet sitting for family and close friends when they went out of town. Eventually, I decided to branch out to Rover where I know my experience and love for our four-legged friends will be perfect for pet owners all around the San Diego area. I know how hard it is to be away from our pets so I’ll be in constant and consistent communication, sending photo and text updates so you know what we’re up to while you’re away. I’ll follow your care instructions to a ‘T’ because no one knows your dog better than you. Your pups and I will spend the evenings together taking walks, playing, snuggling, whatever they prefer. We will try to stick to their morning and afternoon/evening routines to keep a sense of normalcy in your absence. How you want your pup to be taken care of while you are away is how I want to take of them. My goal is to provide as little disruption to their daily care and routine as possible. For you cat lovers: I am also experienced in taking care of them as well! I am happy swing by, make sure they have food, water, companionship, and a clean litterbox as needed. Please note, I do work full-time M-F in downtown San Diego. I am usually gone from 530 am until 345 pm.
