Wonderful care from Dr Nicole as always! She was extremely professional when she kindly agreed to extend Amber’s stay, checking she had no allergies etc before feeding her when the food supply I left ran out. A great sitter. Thanks again Nicole!

Dr Nicole helped us out with Otis when we were visiting family in Edinburgh - she had a wonderful calming presence and was able to help us when Otis paw was wounded (he sliced his pad open on a stone) by providing A+ care for him. She took the time to understand his care needs at a meet up and even offered to change Otis bandages for us during his stay with her. We highly recommend Dr Nicole and would use her support again when we’re in Edinburgh again.

Nicole was amazing and I would be very happy to book her again. My dog Enzo is pretty shy but he felt comfortable with Nicole. I can highly recommend her!❤️

5* hardly seem sufficient. Amazing care provided to my 13 year old dog. Lots of communication before and during his stay with Dr Nicole which made the whole process of a senior dog going to a new home really seamless. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Schedule

Pet care is a central part of my daily life—not something I squeeze in around other commitments. I structure my days around the dogs in my care to ensure they receive consistent attention, exercise, and companionship. **Daily Routine** My day is built to prioritise your dog’s needs, starting with morning walks, feeding, and one-on-one attention. Throughout the day, I’m present to provide supervision, playtime, and regular outdoor breaks. Afternoons are reserved for longer walks or enrichment activities, followed by a calm evening routine with dinner, relaxation, and a final walk before bedtime. **Weekly Structure** I carefully manage bookings to avoid overcrowding and to give each dog the time and care they deserve. This means I only take on a limited number of dogs at once, allowing for a more personalised and stress-free experience. **Consistency & Reliability** Because pet care is part of my regular routine, you can rely on a consistent schedule every day of the week—including weekends. I maintain your dog’s привычный routine as closely as possible, helping them feel secure and settled while you’re away. --- This approach ensures your dog gets not just care, but attention, structure, and a genuinely enjoyable experience.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, secure, and loving environment where your pet can feel completely at ease. **Safety First** I take every precaution to ensure your dog is safe at all times—from secure walking practices to careful supervision during play. I follow your instructions closely, whether that’s keeping your dog on-lead, avoiding certain areas, or administering medication. Clean water, safe spaces, and constant attention are always guaranteed. **A Service You Can Trust** Building trust with both you and your dog is essential. I provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I treat every dog as if they were my own, with patience, kindness, and respect for their individual needs. **A Comfortable Home Environment** Your dog will enjoy a warm, home-from-home setting—never a crowded or stressful space. I keep routines consistent with what they’re used to, including feeding, walks, and sleep schedules. Whether your dog loves playtime or prefers a quiet cuddle, I create an environment that suits them perfectly. --- My goal is simple: to give you complete peace of mind and your dog a safe, happy experience every single day.

Pets

A typical day

My day as a dog sitter starts early, with a calm morning routine tailored to each dog’s needs. After a gentle wake-up and breakfast, we head out for our first walk of the day. Whether it’s a relaxed stroll through leafy neighbourhood streets or an energetic outing in one of Edinburgh’s beautiful green spaces, I make sure every dog gets the exercise and stimulation they need. Mid-morning is all about comfort and companionship. Some dogs love playtime with toys and games, while others prefer a cosy nap in a quiet spot. I keep a close eye on their behaviour, ensuring they feel secure, happy, and right at home. Lunchtime brings another opportunity for feeding (if required), fresh water, and of course, affection. I send regular updates, photos, and little notes so you always know how your dog is doing—whether they’re chasing a ball, making new furry friends, or snoozing contentedly. In the afternoon, we head out again—this time for a longer walk or adventure, depending on your dog’s energy level. I prioritise safe, enriching environments where dogs can explore, sniff, and enjoy themselves. Evenings are calm and comforting. After dinner, we wind down with gentle play, cuddles, and relaxation. I stick closely to your dog’s usual routine so they feel settled and secure while you’re away. Before bedtime, there’s one last walk and plenty of reassurance to end the day on a positive note. Every dog I care for is treated like family—with patience, attention, and genuine affection. My goal is simple: happy dogs, reassured owners, and a service you can trust again and again.
