Hi, I’m Dr. Anna — a retired holistic healthcare professional and lifelong dog lover based in Burlington. As someone who’s home 90% of the time, I offer a calm, consistent, and loving environment where your small to medium-sized pup (under 40 lbs) will feel safe, secure, and right at home. I care for up to four dogs at a time, providing plenty of individual attention, affection, and structured routines. I specialize in working with dogs who are shy, anxious, reactive, or just need a little extra guidance — whether that’s crate training, better walking manners, or helping picky eaters thrive. Once your dog is in my care, they’re treated like one of my own. 🐶 Meet & Greets are required before a first stay, and trial stays (24 hours) are required for new bookings over 2 days. My home is a peaceful space where dogs can relax, play, nap, and socialize — a true second home while you’re away. Let’s chat and see if we’re a good fit!

Anna is a wonderful carer of dogs. She is very organized, and a great communicator. In the 10 days that she boarded our aging dog, she kept us updated with photos and videos so that we could enjoy our vacation with peace of mind. We could not ask for more.

I cannot say enough amazing things about our dog sitter,Anna! From the moment my pug walks into her home, it’s obvious how loved, cared for, and spoiled she is. She gets so much attention, affection, and personalized care that sometimes I genuinely wonder if she even wants to come back home with me afterward! 😂 It gives me such peace of mind knowing my dog is not just being “watched,” but truly treated like family. You can tell she genuinely loves animals, and my pug absolutely adores her. I always come home to a happy, relaxed, and well-cared-for pup. This is the second time leaving Piper with Anna. Can't say enough great things about Dr. Anna. Piper was happy to see Anna at drop off and had a great time during her stay. Anna sends out regular updates - texts, pictures and videos. I will definitely be using her services again and would not hesitate recommending Dr. Anna!!

With ample time on my hands, I prioritize looking after and playing with pets, ensuring they receive the attention and care they deserve. Being an early riser, I'm available to take your pets as early as needed, depending on your schedule, accommodating their schedules and ensuring they start the day on the right paw. Additionally, my availability extends to most holidays and weekends, allowing me to be there for your furry companions whenever you need me. Whether it's a morning walk, midday playtime, or evening cuddles, your pets will receive dedicated care and companionship throughout the day.

Additionally, I'm well-versed in crate training and can continue this practice for puppies or adult pets if needed, providing structure and security. Meals and treats will be served on your pup's schedule, maintaining consistency and catering to their individual preferences and dietary requirements. Whether it's playtime in the yard, cozy crate breaks, or a nutritious meal, your pup will receive attentive and loving care during their stay.

A typical day
As a dog sitter, I'm dedicated to providing a fun and enriching experience for the pups in my care, tailoring activities to their individual needs and preferences. Whether it's a sunny day perfect for outdoor adventures or a cozy afternoon indoors, there's always something exciting in store for our furry friends. On bright and sunny days, we love heading to the nearby Optimist Park for refreshing walks and playtime. With access to almost 7 acres, it's the perfect setting for the dogs to stretch their legs, explore new sights and smells, and enjoy some off-leash fun if they are trained for it. For days when the weather isn't quite as cooperative, we get creative with indoor activities that keep the pups engaged and entertained. From interactive toys that challenge their minds to fun training sessions that reinforce obedience and learn new tricks, there's never a dull moment. We ensure a safe and stimulating environment, adjusting our plans accordingly to ensure that each day is filled with wagging tails, happy barks, and unforgettable memories for the pups in my care.
