With this in mind, you should never have to worry about your dog accidentally eating something they weren’t supposed to or harming themselves while home alone because we will always be there to send you updates (3): morning, noon, and night!

We will always do our best to have your pet out of harms way and constantly monitor the floor for any unsafe objects that your pet may try to eat or accidentally step on while on walks or in our home. *Refunds are not given if you decide to pick up early * BOARDING: *Drop-offs/Pick-ups earlier than 8 AM will be charged a $15 fee. We would like to know: - Has he/she been sick in the last week? - is he/she fully vaccinated? - is he/she on flea and tick prevention? - is he/she crate trained? - does he/she tend to pull on the leash when you walk him/her? - does he/she sleep in his/her bed, with you, or in a cage? - is this her/his first time away from you or away from home? - does he/she know any commands? If so, which ones? - does he/she tend to get excited and try to jump at people when walking by them on a walk? - do you know if he/she is possessive with his/her toys? - do you know if he/she is food possessive? So that we may feed treats separately - is he/she allergic to anything? - does he/she get car sick? - is she/he scared of loud sounds? Ex: fireworks, construction, trucks - how many times a day do you feed him/her? - how many cups do you give with each meal? - any previous conditions/surgeries we should know about? - will he/she use the bathroom on walks or is he/she only used to a backyard? - is he/she on any medications at the moment? Ex: allergy, anxiety, prescribed, etc. - does she/he pee out of excitement? - does he/she like to eat things off the floor outside during walks? - do you know if he/she humps humans and/or other dogs? - does he/she like to chew things in the house that they’re not supposed to? - can he/she be left with a blanket/bed for bedtime without trying to eat it? - how often does he/she have accidents in the house? - does he/she wear a muzzle? - does he/she wear a prong collar? - is he/she reactive on walks outside? Example: barks or pulls aggressively at people or animals - is he/she an escape artist (does he/she try to run away)?

We have two fur babies of our own that we've had for the past 5 years and a half. They are both very active and energetic breeds. That being said, they do great with dogs of all sizes, big and small. When meeting new dogs, they are not overwhelming and are very calm. We love to take them to the parks so they can let all their energy out! But we also allow, both our dogs and yours, out on our gated front porch to run and play.

Absolutely the best for dog boarding! My dog Marbles has been going to Douglas and Secylia’s every time I go out of town for the past 3 years, and I can’t see why I’d ever send her anywhere else!
Brooks loves staying here - he always runs in and doesn’t want to leave! We get great photo updates.
I was so nervous leaving Cleo but I definitely picked the right people for her to be with. She looked like she was having the best time and was well taken care of while I was away. The pictures and updates every day were really reassuring and I was so happy to see how much fun she was having with their dogs.
